Katherine Jackson: Who Can Live on $26K a Month?

Katherine Jackson can't make it on a $26,000-a-month allowance ... so she's asking for more.

TMZ found a judge's order filed yesterday in the Michael Jackson Estate case, in which the judge notes, "Counsel will give notice of proposed action re: adjustment to family allowance for the benefit of Katherine Jackson."

TMZ has already reported Katherine pulls in a temp allowance of $26,804 a month.

The document does not say how much more Katherine wants, but it's pretty ironic since she's making a lot of money on the side.

I thought a while back the beneficiaries received raised to their allowances and it was an undisclosed amount.

Now that you mention it i thought so too but it says filed yesterday. Maybe they're just posting regurgitated news. If it is new then she must be asking for a reason and it's a shame court records are accessed so easily. Expect TMZ to drag this out and to be one sided on their report.

I'm "thinking" that Ms. Katherine is not asking for herself, per se.

It's like when you win the lottery and then all of a sudden you have certain family members coming out the woodwork with their hands out. It's a tough position to be in.

I just hope "folks" ain't stressing her out! I know people like to say "she's strong, yada yada yada" but everybody has their breaking point.
 
well she has all those other kids to pay for aswell. ironic timing after the lawsuit gets filed the other day!
 
Money can be like a curse, ask Michael how it brought out some of the lowest instincts in some around him...

A huge house also means huge upkeep, things take a life of their own. You got the big clan, you have three children whose bodyguards need to be paid, etc.

Tough position to be in. People judge very easily, love it how TMZ complains about whining how somebody cannot live on x amount- wonder how much their pay their interns after they no doubt made huge income on MJs death? And then the next day somebody finds it hilarious that some family members have "regular jobs stocking shelves", and the next person is analyzing what outfit Katherine Jackson wore on which court appearance.

Always gotta say, look who's asking the question and why.

Just stirring the sh*t pot of the "ghost of jealousy" once more.

Other people's financial dealings are apparently cause for judgement, always weird how stories are being spun.
 
the only problem is estate is paying for every thing including bodyguards ,maids all staff ,even paying for house including maintainance so that is where question marks comes. tmz is running on Michael and Jackson family SMH.
 
I still don't understand why Janet can't help her mother and the other folks in that house? Mike's kids are taken care of through the estate and Mike's assets. There is no way Michael in death should be taking care of everyone in that household

It just makes me wonder when we see filings like this, given that the Estate is paying for everything practically. If the other siblings were pitching in, then there would be no need for Mrs. Jackson to request that her allowance be increased now would it? and if thats the case when will Michael Jackson stop paying and paying and paying.....?

Not knocking Mrs. Jackson, just making an observation.

I thought that Katherine is a beneficiary of the estate. I would guess that's why she's asking the estate for money.

I have no idea if Janet helps out her family members, but I could absolutely understand why she wouldn't want to pay for the extra kids that live in Katherine's house. Jermaine and Randy need to take care of their kids.
 
she is asking for the money that her son left her! i really dont see the big deal...
