This is for people's records who are keeping watch. Or FYI.


"Kai Chase -- through her company Kai Chase Incorporated -- has filed an $8,000 claim against the estate, alleging she got stiffed during two pay periods -- $4,000 for the period June 2 - June 10, and $4,000 for the period June 10 - June 25.

Chase has gone public since Michael Jackson's death, saying the morning the singer died she thought it was weird that Dr. Conrad Murray didn't come downstairs at his normal time in the AM. "

Well if she was not paid then she has a right to file a claim. And at least she waited a fair amount of time to file one
 
If she is owned the money, I'm sure she will be taken care of.

Only problem, if I'm not mistaken, LAST FRIDAY was the deadline to file creditor's claims.

Yeah but we don't know when she filed this claim. Tmz being tmz again they know why Kai was not paid but they have to act like she was not paid because Michael just did not want to pay her
 
nothing wrong with asking for the money but why the hell did ppl allow employees to be paid so much. talk about taking the piss
 
Thanks for telling when the deadline was. That seemed to go on forever!

Now hopefully the estate can get past this phase and focus squarely on money making endeacors that will strengthen his legacy.:wub:

TMZ, apparently, can't let a day go by without posting a Michael Jackson related story. They may have just dug this up, because they have nothing else to post.
 
Sheesh, I wish I got that much to cook! All I get "oh thanks!". Not that I'm a chef....but now after seeing that price, it will be considered lol
 
I think that if she is owed the Money then she should be paid....I just hope her 4,000 was worth every bite..:lmao:

I agree. She could have filed this months ago. But we're just hearing about it now

And yeah, isn't the deadline to file claims gone by already? It's been eight months. This can't continue indefinitely.

Either Kai didn't make the deadline, or she filed the claim weeks ago and TMZ have just picked up on it because they can't stand the thought of a day going by without report something, anything about MJ. I still can't get over the fact they paid money for pictures of a damn rabbit because it had markings on it that looked like MJ's face. Money that could have been used for something more important, went into buying pictures of a freaking rabbit. :doh:
 
IF she is owed money then it's her right to file for a claim she had the decency to wait for almost 8 months for things to get sorted out, unlike those who shall remain unnamed she isn't demanding an outrageous amount of money.
 
Kai talked as if she was attracted to Michael. She told Larry King that he was a charming man and that he came down stairs one day looking so fine. Yeah she liked him who wouldn't.

She needs money to publish her cookbook. lol! :wild:

These things should be resolved privately, right? :scratch:The press always have to be involved in this special TMZ... :eek: and then becomes a mess and stories began to appear. :mello:

The personal chef who was with MICHAEL JACKSON when he died has filed a creditor's claim against the late star's estate.

Kai Chase, who worked at Jackson's California home, claims her company Kai Chase Incorporated is owed $8,000 (GBP5,000) for missing pay between 2 and 25 June (10), when the Thriller hitmaker suffered a fatal cardiac arrest.

The claims against the tragic King of Pop's estate now exceed $22 million (GBP13.75 million).

They include legal challenges from Jackson's former accountant Diane Williams, his spiritual adviser Reverend June Juliet Gatlin, his former skin doctor Arnold Klein, choreographer LaVelle Smith Jr. and the pop superstar's one-time manager and adviser Dr. Tohme Tohme.

Shouldnt she be suing AEG? I thought she was on their payroll?

How is it she owns her own company? This woman owes a lot of money herself!

Thunder, I know excactly what you mean. I feel the same way.

Dangerous Incorporated, your signature movie thingy with Michael and Jermaine almost made me choke on my water. Excellent!!!
