I was on pins and needles during their deliberation, even though I knew he was innocent, didn't mean that the ppl on the jury felt the same way.. THANK GOD THEY DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was such a stressful time  Who knew 4 years later, that MJ would be getting ready for 50 concerts? un-be-lievable  :D

Wow four years ago...just doesn't bear thinking about! :(

Happy Birthday to all! :)

It is amazing to think how Michael Jackson has bounced back from the trial 4 years ago. When the trial took place i really had a massive interest in MJ and kept up to date every day with the trial and news of what was happening every day. Then once the trial finished there was all the TV programmes and Documentaries and music channels were filled with MJ Days etc. Then all the hype died down and he went missing for a few years, one minute Bahrain, next Ireland, France (dressed as a woman), hotel rooms in Vegas, rented houses in Vegas. It was during that time that i lost interest in him, i still listened to his songs but i didn't focus on what was happening in his life because nobody really new. And in March this year he came back with a bang and now newspapers mention him and the This Is It concerts everyday, he has sold 50 nights and is once again KOP!!! Bring on August 3rd :)

I was always harrased & pressured by so many ppl around me, saying " he guilty blah blah blah"

But im so happy that mike is okay & happy now :)

AEG Live president and CEO Randy Phillips has rejected U.K. tabloid reports that Michael Jackson told fans that he only wanted to play 10 London O2 Arena shows rather than the 50 that have been scheduled.

The Sun reported that Jackson told fans outside his L.A. rehearsal space that he wanted to play 10 O2 shows and then go on tour.

In a statement, Randy Phillips, president & CEO, AEG Live, commented: "This is not true; Michael Jackson was thrilled at selling 50 shows. The size and scale of this show would not be possible without an extended run, which Michael has been fully on board with from the very beginning. He has not agreed to a world tour at this point, however, he can at any time."

The first four dates of the concert were recently pushed back in order that the show will be completely ready. The first night is now July 13.

It is amusing how desperate some members of the media want This Is It to fail. At first I found it frustrating and extremely annoying. Now I just laugh.

The media says "now stay down, damnit!" and Michael says "Umm. No!!" It really sticks in their craw.

Go on with your bad self Michael!

you know, the crazy thing about Phillips comment is that it can draw new speculation. like he said the scope of the show needs for it to be an extended run. that could mean that no two shows will be alike. lol. so much for people spilling the beans about any of the shows if that turns out to be true.

and for fans who are worried about what kind of show they'll get in feb. 2010 as opposed to july 09, well, maybe the possible uniqueness of the shows might eliminate that. but, hey, don't quote me on that. i'm just speculating. lol. though i do think no one has anything to worry about, no matter what show they go to. MJ has been doing extended runs for years. and he's rested for thirteen.

i really think that MJ's hate for the routinely way of operating, will make every show a unique experience.

I want to know why DOug banks said MJ is only doing 46 shows. What in the world is this guy talking about yesterday? Did I miss something?

Obviously the twit is removing the four re-scheduled dates from the 50 and saying they were shelved. He should do his re-search. That kind of crap actually annoys me, a click on the computer and you can find the correct information.

Media folks aren't dumb. They don't want the correct information. They want to report the everything filled with inuendo and falsities. They are trying very hard to put some negative twist on the O2 shows, but it is too late. The tickets have already been bought. And when those first 1 mil people come out and tell others what they just saw, more and more people will be lined up for the next cities.

Interestin':

While channel surfin', I caught this violinist playin' Smooth Criminal on the Today Show this mornin'.

David Garrett, the world's fastest violinist, will be in the 2010 Guinness Book of World Records...found an old performance on youtube - music starts @ about 0:50 & performance footatge @ 1:20

Not sure what the rest of the vid/helicopter is about, perhaps someone can translate.

if i didn't know MJ wrote that, i would have considered it to be classical music. so, i consider it to be classical music. and consider Michael to be the King of Classical music, too! this really makes me appreciate MJ's songwriting skills, all the more!:clapping:
