lol i was thinking the same thing

Back in 2004, Dr. Sebi said in an LA radio interview that Michael showed him a whole portfolio of personal drawings and architectural designs. He went on to mention that Michael had made money selling his architectural designs to various places around the world. One of Michael's designs was apparently used for a structure making up the Belagio hotel in Las Vegas, others have been used in buildings in South Africa (e.g., Sun City). This could help explain why Michael is always so interested in the architecture of buildings he's in, and art in general of course.

Concise resume on Mr. Michael Joseph Jackson:

Michael Joseph Jackson is a writer; poet; philosopher; script-writer; art-critic; actor; director; stylist; costume designer; set designer; dance stager; choreographer; dancer; mime; composer; arranger; singer; musician multiinstrumentalist; music, videos and theatrical producer; painter; architect; sportsman; philanthropist; businessman, international investor.

(All listed kinds of activity differ professionally from each other, even when they seem to be the same thing; for example, "dance stager" means that Mr. Jackson created dance routines for a full stage dance crew and directed it; "choreographer" means that Mr. Jackson personally taught and trained dancers to perform a dance, conceived by him — that is another work as it requires to split the routine into "steps"; "dancer" means Mr. Jackson personally performs a dance.)

In his fifty years, Michael Jackson has become a holder of the most worldwide and local records, ever by a single person*1; one of the most known humans ever among six billion people in the worldwide community*2; the most image-reproduced man ever*3; the most awarded man ever*4; the biggest selling artist of all time*5; an honorary Doctor of Philosophy of several leading universities; a connoisseur of mid-century and ancient music and art; a producer of one of the most awarded musicals ever; an innovator of new principal dance movement methods and mimic poses; a developer of singing to the top of art with use of his four octave voice as the most complex music instrument; one of the greatest composers ever, creating with popular dance, rock, soul, gospel, funk, industrial, neoclassical music, playing piano, acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards, synthesizers, drums, percussion, writing parties for symphonic orchestra and choirs; a developer of simultaneous stage dance performing and singing, an innovator of mini-movie music video clip concept; a developer of one of the most original fashion and style image; a designer of his almost three thousand acre home ranch Neverland; an owner of Kata black belt and the fifth degree skill, one of the biggest philanthropists with more than two hundred million dollars raised for true charity; a visitor of hundreds of hospitals in tens of countries around the world; the most wealthy personality ever (no stocks nor shares, only personal talent fertility is estimated), a billionaire, an owner, co-owner and president of tens of companies.

*All the assertions are factual here, except for ones marked with the sign "*", which can not be proven or denied strictly, but have factual substantiation and statistic estimation, as well social and cultural significance:

*1: More than 80 worldwide records, hundreds of local records;
*2: In such countries as China, India, Indonesia or even Iraq there are billions of people who often know nobody of the outer world other than Mr. Jackson with his moonwalk: neither the Pope, nor the Beatles, nor even the President of the USA;
*3: (excluding paper money reproductions) since 1969 to 2009 Mr. Jackson's images were reprinted more than any other person ever on the planet, including newspapers, books, and about 480 million reprints in his music solo and group records;
*4: More than 300 awards; others not specified;
*5: Cumulative sales of SME/ER and UMG/Motown solo and group records with Jackson's voice and name are about 480 million records.

they always go on about Michael signing his signature really big and say this is an "ego" thing. In this document Michael's is rather normal, but check out Jermaines.

WTF? I thought David G was a friend...hm....I might have misinterpereted the term friend..
Of course he is a friend
he is just selling off some of his personal posessions
which include some items he collected of MJs _ Its
no different' than any other fan selling items they have

we are in an econimical cruch _which David might be feeling

The items are Davids to do with what he pleases
not Michaels and he didnt steal them from Michael.

I hope that helps put things into perspective. :)

By Baby has got some serious talent! :clapping:

why is david selling these things?:mello:

Woah, it is true? :mello: LOL my Dad told me about his schedule @ Planet Hollywood there was gonna be some Julien Auction thing and was wondering about Michael's things... but I was like Naaaah. But it is really MJ's stuff. :lol: Woops... I thought this whole Julien thing was done already. :hysterical:

Gah, I need to tell Dad to get me in or something, lol.

I still wonder why his drawing/painting talent has not been widely seen. It's almost unknown. Why does he keep such an immense talent a secret? His art should be in galleries around the world! It would sell like hot cakes! lol

Busy, busy man. Here's someone who's doing the utmost with his life.

a connoisseur of mid-century and ancient music
Hmm, now this is interesting.. at least to me. Wish there were more details; it's rather vague. Which century exactly; 1900's? And ancient music; does that mean Gregorian chant? Dufay? Palestrina? ...Or the Andrews Sisters? :D

What exactly qualifies someone to be an art-critic?

It is accompanied by a color photograph showing Jackson actively working on the piece in which we can see that he was using a Polaroid image as the basis for the drawing. 20 by 16 inches
^^
Wonderful stuff! I couldn't sell one thing. How would David make money if he hadn't the things to sell? It's up to him, but there are other ways to earn something.

I thought it said 'long friendship' :mello:

damn they pricing this higher than what mj priced his stuff! Lol

Those things weren't priced by MJ, they were priced by Julien's Auctions and treated as if they were regular items belonging to anyone. Some of David Gest's items will be higher in value since they're signed.

^^Oh I love this letter.

That Stacy Lattisaw sounds similar to Michael somewhat. Her lyrics are primitive, her beats's nice though

who's david gest?? lucky guy i wish i had his collection, especially the paintings that michael jackson did and of course some of his cloths :cool:
I would never sell them..

The Michael Jackson items will be sold during the second session of the first auction day, starting at 2:00 PM (PDT). It is also possible to see these objects during the public exhibition which will be held from Saturday, June 13, 2009 to Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

exhibition until June 25. Well that's a coincidence.

Did this auction ever end up happening or was it canceled due to the obvious?
