NEWS about UD Group vs MJ ESTATE:

UD Group Wins Against MJ Estate

An initial injunction and court case filed by the Trustees of Michael Jackson Estate (charlie xxxxx ) to block UD Group International from producing and selling Merchandise with the MJ logo and further contesting the ownership of the MJ Logo copyright has been thrown out of court by a German Judge under the grounds that the Estates Arguments were baseless and the UD Group had amble proof of ownership.

Mr. Don Stardy in an E-mail to clients confirmed today that with this blockage lifted his establishment UD Group International is moving full throttle ahead producing various incredible merchandises with the MJ LOGO. They will be coming to stores all around the world very soon.

For more on the story visit their official pageby clicking here .

An article from earlier this year:

Eww who in their right mind will want to buy products with Joe's fugly mug?

I guess they'll be going to town with that logo, now that they won the right to use it.

eta: is that thumb print on the necklace Michael's? If so, it's very similar to the official finger print necklace released during History tour time.

Joe Jackson: Champagne, Ice Cream, Jellys, Lollys, Cosmetique, Jewelry and Fashion (Children and Adult Clothing)
Seriously, will ANYBODY really be interested in any of the stuff noted above?

Although it has that "MJ" thingy attached, they STILL can't use Michael's name, which in my opinion, they will need to do in order to get anybody to really take notice.

All of that stuff is just so tacky!

Who the heck is going to use Joe Jackson - with the "MJ" thingy - COSMETIQUES. LOL!

As to the CLOTHING LINE - what are they going to do, make Joe Jackson inspired PIMP SUITS for father's and son's. LOL!

The Champagne, Ice Cream, Jellys, Lollys, Cosmetique, Jewelry and Fashion will be sitting on the stame shelf as the UNUSED CANS OF JOE COLA. Or with any luck maybe you will be able to find some of that stuff in your local DOLLAR STORE.

It just amazes me that these "business" types think it's a GOOD IDEA, when they have Joe Jackson on board. LOL!

Don't they know that "most" folks don't like Joe Jackson and having his picture on their respective product is the Kiss Of Death, in my opinion.

When you see products with the History MJ-Logo and the name Jackson people don`t know that is a Joe Jackson-deal, there are sure people who think`s it is a official MJ-product.

Too be honest, I don't think "many" people will recognize that MJ-Logo. Most folks identity with the "on his toes pose."

Then there's the part wherein Joe Jackson's FACE will appear on some of those items. Like I said, Kiss Of Death!

For instance, the champagne. Folks ain't gonna notice that MJ-Logo, but they will notice Joe's face. LOL!

No by the logo alone the people wouldn`t recognize a MJ-product. But with the name Jackson. And on the product you see only the MJ-Logo and the name Jackson.
Thera are no longer pictures from Joe or the name Joe on the product, only the MJ-Logo and the name Jackson and the hint MJ-Logo by Jackson.
And additonal they have the soundsystem from Wiesner with the MJ-picture for commercial.

Sorry, but I STILL consider those things a bunch of junk, that not MANY will be interested in.

Hardcore Michael Jackson fans, who are collectors, "MAY" be interested, but, in my opinion, the MJ-thingy along with JUST the last name of Jackson is a tell-tale sign that something is not right with said products. LOL!

I just don't see many folks falling for the "flim-flam," and if they think that these products will find their way AROUND THE WORLD, they are sadly mistaken, in my opinion.

We need to educate as many fans as possible. I don't worry about the general public....don't think they's be interested to buy junk.

Question: Does UD hold the copyright in Germanyalone or worldwide?

Good question, AFAIK, the copyright for the logo is only in Germany..., I may be wrong...

:wtf:

Papa Joe :nono:, you know everything that is wrong. The man does not give up. He continues to insist on things that will never work and will never see the light of day. :sigh:

Countdown to the Estate stop Papa Joe in his obscure business to make money using the name Michael. :timer: :fear:

I'm just wondering how the Court found it right to say that the Estate's claims to the logo were baseless. The Estate are the ultimate trustees for everything that has to do with the business world of Michael Jackson. How could they not have the rights to the logo? Didn't Dieter lose his right to use Michael's name or image around 2007 or so? Or am I mistaken?

Please pass on the information to fans that this is not from the estate and then they can choose to buy it or not. I for one will pass up on this, although I like the MJ logo. I wish Michael did not lose it. Big sigh. I would love an earring and necklace set of the logo.

I don't know in which country you live, Big Apple.... it can be that you can't estimate so the extent of the possible shops with the HIStory logo right.

Umadubhé sells to 99% via Internet.
The buyers are sitting in East Europe. So the countries which belonged till 1989 to the "Eastern bloc".
The buyers are with the smaller details from Michael's vita not familiar so especially well; because there was no free access to western press.

You will maybe say that since then more than 20 years have passed and the people had time enough to find out ?
Now, you must not go to these countries to see that this the least people act.
Also here, in this forum it "know" less than half, about this I would bet with you.
Even this Thread is hardly known and so also hardly read: http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/threads/117886-UD-Group-win-case-against-the-Estate........

The HIStory logo is liked very much for Body-Tatoos; it is on the HIStory album, on the video a box set of 2006
(http://www.michaeljackson.com/de/music/visionary-video-singles-box-set)
and it is even here in the forum the sign for the column "news and happenings"....

It is not right that only hardcore fans and collectors associate this brand with Michael and so only they have interest.

Michael is loved in these countries by a lot of people and the inquiry for MJ-Merchandising is big.

UD-Group (umadubehé), Wiesner and Joe Jackson will make there good deals.

To me this would be indifferently......., however, this logo at that time Michael has lost because he was lied and he was cheated: It has been stolen from him literally.
And this goes too far.

If that is the case, it is the estate's job to inform people that they are in no way shape or form affiliated with the MJ-logo.

If they release a statement in these countries....I think the press will report on it

Wait a minute! Joe is selling jelly? LMFAO!!!! Who on this planet would want Joe's jelly? The best of Joe's jelly was used making Michael.....

Guys does Michael have more than one logo. I am thinking since he lost the rights for one, the estate could focus on the other one. Anyone knows. The key he drew reminds me of a logo.

Lol. Joe's jelly :puke::hysterical: that sounds icky and funny at the same time!

Joe's Jelly is made from the sourest grapes in the world. I wont be buying this..... And i have the History Logo tattooed on my leg lol.

By "Jellys" I think they're referring to candy, like Jelly Beans. NOT the non-edible kind! :puke:

But with Joe, you never know!
