Did you all notice that smile around 3:15 when Joe is talking about Blanket being the next Michael?....lawd Jesus, if that man had his way, Blanket would be in for a round of whoop ass take two!

Why is it always about Michael for Joseph? he's ALWAYS involving himself with anything that relates to Michael, how is it we don't see him doing that with Janet for instance? Its like Joe has this obsession with all things Michael!:doh:

All of them have an obsession with all things Michael, it's not just this greedy ungrateful old man.
 
..Actually, it really seems like he's not the 'powerful' person he was due to old age and things, he's definitely more passive, but I think his influence on Katherine could still be big... Those 3 children are determined, strong beings that will hope and pray won't yield to outer pressure. Blanket wants nothing to do with fame as well. Daddy watching over them most certainly... or hopefully..
 
Alama how do you know what blanket wants? at 9 he probably doesn't even know what he wants yet. He'll do what he wants and he'll have much support and whatever career he wishes to persue.

:lol: that's a funny thing to say about someone when it's their son.
Janet is still alive and Michael is more marketable i guess, that comes with being arguably the greatest entertainer with a huge fan base. When parents want to celebrate their children's artistry and good nature i don't see the big deal. If Beyonce mom wanted to write a book on how she viewd her daughetr or if her father wanted to make a beyonce musical based on her hits i'd feel the same.

If he think Blanket reminds him of Michael then what's the big deal it's not like Blanket already has a record deal. I think he may see Blanket like to mimick his dad and has great rhythm, someone mentioned before how he liked to dance. People always say talented kids remind them of Mihcael Jackson, just last week jenniefer hudson said the same with her baby boy so it's natural that Michael own son would get a comparison.

I understand and appreciate what you are saying moulin rouge but I think some fans are concerned based on Joe Jackson's past actions AND how he treated Michael.

While it is true that Michael is more marketable and there is interest in his children, it is also time for Mr Jackson to appreciate the fact that Michael would not want his children discussed in this way. He could simply say 'in honour of Michael's memory, I will not discuss his children.'

Impossible.Words Honour and Mike's memory and I WILL NOT DISCUSS HIS BANKABLE CHILDREN, don't exist in the Jackson family.
 
That Joe Jackson is something else. Talking about MEMORABILIA being used for this project and for the Happyland project.

He ain't in charge of nobody's memorabilia (LOL) and if he told that LIE to anybody, they are in for a rude awakening.

Folks who do not perform their due diligence BEFORE agreeing to do anything with Joe Jackson get exactly what they deserve, in my opinion.

(I see Joe Jackson sitting up on that platform and it reminds me of when Jermaine was sitting on a platform talking about a Michael Jackson Tribute Show, both talking out the sides of their neck, producing absolutely NO results.)
 
I have a feeling that there will be another lawsuit few years later..............
Joe just never gives up.
I don't know it a good personality or not. lol

You're somehow choosing not to look at Joe's history here, even when Michael was alive Joe was all up in his business, doing things behind MJ's back like agreeing to concerts that MJ had no idea about! I'll never forget that BET stunt he pulled just days after Mike passed, tacky as hell! You mention Janet being alive, when have you heard about Joe being all up in her business like he has Michael? or is it that his 'golden child' need to be the only one of them to be exploited?

Joe is behaving as though he still has some sort of important role in the music business, he DOES NOT and someone needs to remind him of that, he's just coming off as a bit pathetic doing the things he has been doing.

Maybe he means memorabilia owned by Mann and Vacarro? Katherine and Joseph are now in business with both of them.

You are so right.. I didn't see Joe and Leonard Rowe trying to get in with Janet and her theater tour for Up Close and Personal. I didn't see Joe and Leonard trying to get the brothers to join her or how she should be paid in american dollars and not euro dollars. Joe was always up in MJ's business trying to cash in anyway he could. As soon as TII was announced and those 50 shows sold out in record time old dude was right at MJ's doorstep.. Shameful..

If true, that could ONLY end up being a bad case of "Buyer's Remorse," for those involved with Joe Jackson. LOL!

I'm sure that IF memorabilia was really discussed with either one of these "ventures," the folks involved would be thinking more along the lines of what was presented when The Estate of Michael Jackson allowed some of his belongs to be displayed during a recent World viewing.

That turned out to be a wonderful display, something that the Mann belongings could NEVER achieve, in my opinion.

exactly its about joes motive and history. not even the biggest family stan can denie that. that is the issue

Thankfully, others see it differently. I do know children should be children. If Michael had received even an ounce of more attention from his father, in his life, he said it would've made a world of difference. One shouldn't sell his minor children to strip clubs for money and fame and out of one's own personal frustration for their lack of talent. And certainly, with how Michael felt about his childhood and his children - and for all suffering children out there, one'd think that it's only normal to Not be even considering doing the same to them. Blanket is the new Michael J., right? Isn't that enough what they did to him and what life he led 'thanks' to the vicious ongoing scrutiny he got? His children should be next? And yes, it's very telling that Blanket is not interested in being famous.

.....*smh* Well, now that Michael isn't here, who knows what might happen in the future, anything may happen, because most of the family's passiveness and carelessness certainly isn't helping Michael, nor his 3 children. If he had been there, absolutely none of the things that are happening today in their world would happen, none. ...
