This is a video by the English singer, Jessie J. It's supposed to be about the rejection of materialism. I'm personally on the fence about it-- I don't think her voice is that good, and I don't particularly like the video, however, I do like the message behind the lyrics--so different from most of the pro-materialism lyrics that mainstream artists churn out today.
So...what do you all think? From what I've seen of her thus far, I can safely say I'm not a fan [and even if I was] I won't act like you insulted my mother if you all say she sucks. It's your opinion, after all. I ask because she's relatively new and I'm curious as to what you guys think of this...
[P.S. According to Wikipedia, she's written songs for the likes of Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus and Justin Timberlake, so at least we know she's capable of writing material. That makes me respect her a bit more.]
