For a limited time only, a special Michael Jackson Experience celebrating the King of Pop throughout the years will be coming to Madame Tussauds Hollywood from June until Labor Day.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood will open its first ever, multi-media “limited engagement” blockbuster, THE MICHAEL JACKSON EXPERIENCE, on the eve of the second anniversary of the pop star’s passing (6/25). The “MJ Experience” will be included as part of Madame Tussauds regular general admission price.

The $55 million attraction, situated along Hollywood Blvd., next to Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, will host the first-of-its-kind exhibition, direct from Europe, featuring three Michael Jackson figures, from various stages of his career (The Jackson 5 Years, The Invincible Era and the “This Is It” Michael), that collectively represent over $1 million in wax sculpting alone!

In an unprecedented move, Madame Tussauds Hollywood will feature the travelling extravaganza all summer long, exhibition dates that will coincide with anniversaries for both his passing and birth (8/29).

In a special area of the 3-story attraction that houses over 100 celebrity figures, Hollywood visitors will get to see all three figures up close and have their picture taken in front of each $300,000 likeness.

Michael Jackson’s relationship with Madame Tussauds spanned some 25 years and his first sitting in 1984 led to subsequent sittings and a visit to the London attraction by “the gloved one” in 2005 with his children. Jackson has been sculpted six different times and is the most widely exhibited figure in the Madame Tussauds worldwide empire.

The last line hurts me so much still but the exhibit sounds wonderful

Wow I just saw the figures. I really like them especially the middle one but where is Jacksons/OffTheWall/Thriller MJ? I will have to go see this exhibit for sure. Are the other figures in the pic and I am just not seeing it? Still looking at the figures. My heart breaks looking at the little MJ. I miss him so much :(

I can't find the photos of the statues on that site :( can somebody post here please? ... I am really curious, because usually wax figures look nothing like Michael and it's surprising that you guys like these ones, I guess they do look like him and I wanna see! lol

I don't think they have any pics up yet since it hasn't been officially unveiled.

It's going to be awesome, but I wish it wasn't only for a limited time period :( I also hope Jermaine thanks the appropriate people if he intends to make any speeches. I shudder at the thought of another embarassing AMAs type speech.

Yes, if anyone has pictures of the wax figures, please upload them so we can see. :( Please.

No pictures, but I found this video on the LSA forum.

The statues are gorgeous, and I think it's the first time I've seen a wax work of little Mike  The performing one is the same as the one at Madam Tussauds in London, but the last one  I wish they'd dressed him in the TII press conference Black outfit though since it was his last public appearance.

Also some topics that were discussed at the opening. The brothers are planning a reunion tour according to Jermaine.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Michael Jackson's brothers are working on a reunion tour to perform their old Jackson 5 songs, Jermaine Jackson said Monday.

"Michael would want us to continue on," Jackson said, after he unveiled an exhibit of his brother's wax statues at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood.

Saturday marks the second anniversary of the pop icon's sudden death, which the coroner ruled was from an overdose of a surgical anesthetic.

"The brothers now are ready just to keep the legacy going and the music," Jackson said. "We're meeting today about putting a tour together just to play the music because it's such wonderful music. We need to continue to play this music because it's healing for us."
Jackson did not say which of his brothers were involved in the talks. Recent attempts to reunite the brothers on stage were met with frustration and division, including the effort documented by an A&E Network reality show in 2009.

Monday's unveiling was a reunion of sorts for Michael Jackson. It featured wax figures depicting him as a child performing with the Jackson 5, as the "Smooth Criminal" from around 1987 and the "This Is It" Michael Jackson of his last year.

Jermaine Jackson said his favorite was the last statue because of how it captured his brother's onstage posture.

"Someone was really paying a lot of attention to detail," he said.

The Michael Jackson exhibit is on a world tour, spending this summer in Hollywood before heading to Las Vegas in September.

The middle one is not from Smooth Criminal

Great! I want to see pictures of the statues. :wild:

Am I the only one who thinks those statues are ridiculous??? Nothing like MJ.

About Jermaine. Well, he IS ridiculous. No doubt about that.

"Michael would want us to continue on," Jackson said
Oh Jermaine MJ been wanted u and the rest to move on for years. Like LITERALLY, u know from him and his career and do y'all own thing. Geez! lol

I like the wax figures I hope to see them in person one day.

I disagree..little Michael is soooo cuuuuute. The middle somewhat resembles MJ.

But I agree with your statement: Jermaine IS ridiculous.

At 60...why can't he fix his collar? And that tiny tiny tiny ponytail is a hot mess .com (to quote Tamar)

The little Michael wax statue is perfect. ... The Black Or White one is close to that. As for the third one... not a good one. But love those other 2. ...

I love these new wax figures. :) Michael Jackson has always been of fan of Madame Tussauds and other wax museums. He loved to be there in person whenever another wax figure of him was reveiled.
Enjoy below this video of Michael Jackson at a French Museum:

Madame Tussauds has always chronicled the life and music of Michael Jackson. I'm glad they continue to do so.

Jemaine is what he is .

I like the first 2 but the third one I think it's the hair that bothers me a bit. I think it's a great thing overall for them to do.

the young one is a good likeness the second ones not bad the last one ew

Wax figures are nice, but I'm wondering when is Jermaine going to stop trying to shove his kids into everything MJ related...PPB should have been at the unveiling(maybe came through a secret entrance), he is THEIR father! And what's up with than manpouch under his belly?!:bugeyed:no:

:cry::cry: This too will be hard for me. Jermaine is quite heavy to sat the least. Traveling all around the world dining in fine resturants. Jermaine? you will need to drop at least 100lbs before you tour.
