I always thought that Jermanie and MJ were very close. Its obvious that MJ and Janet were so so close, best friends. As close to each other that any older bro & little sis could get. Thats very sweet. & rare.

But I always thought that Jermaine and MJ were too, best friends. I was wrong. My mother told me, and she knows more about it than I do, she told me that during the 05 trial, Jermaine and MJ had a falling out because now bare with me I don't know all the details about it. : Jermaine, turned Islamic. During the trial, Jermaine tried to do something & if someone knows the full story please correct me- but Jermaine got upset when MJ refused Jermaine's ...offer.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Please post.

There is already a thrread on here about who we think michael was close to among his siblings,,,

As for him turning Islamic during the trial, he turned islamic back in the 80's. And far as I know there was no falling out with MJ during the trial. There may have been rumours (I don't know). But you should never really believe what is being said by tabloids.
 
ok well i wanna make it clear- It wasnt tabloids who said this & nor do I believe any 1.

Ok....in the last few years I am under the impression that MJ wasn't close with anyone in his family. None of the brothers. The person he kept in touch with was his mother...and even Katherine he kept at bay.

He once was very close to Janet.

jermaine has kids with one of his brothers ex-wife's- its in wikipeida. But since theres already a thread on this, maybe this should be merged.

I am not even sure if Mike was as close to Janet and Katherine as he used to be...

Btw, this is just an opinion... I'm not stating facts... =p
 
MJ got angry with jermaine because of the whole Bahrain thing , jermaine received an expensive car from the prince of Bahrain because he convinced mj to go to Bahrain , where they made him sign a deal with a non existence record company the prince was trying to establish but told mj it already existed . when mj run away , the prince sued him and they reached a settlement , I believe the prince ended paying mj .

ofcourse during the trial MJ put his trust into Randy , Randy screwed up big time , and almost ruined mj financially . after he left to Bahrain , lawsuits were filed against him from left and right because Randy's team of accountants and lawyers failed to pay anyone .

MJ kept a distance from the family since then , and although Tohme Tohme credited jermaine for introducing him to MJ after MJ's death , I don't believe that story at all .

Im not sure who of the family members was the closest to MJ.. I know it was not Joe. Joe said he hadnt even seen Michael since two months before June and it was a business arrangement how sad!!!
 
he saw him on may 15 with rowe and allocco , it was a business meeting , they tried to convince mj to do the reunion tour with the brothers and mj refused, then joe started shouting and told him "where would you be if it was not for me" .

No they were not. MJ told his employess he doesn't want to see him or Jo. Jer did not call to say I love you and I care, the only reason to call Michael was to ask for money

What's sad is that meeting actually started out with Joe being concerned for Mike, wanting to make sure that AEG were paying Mike in pounds and not dollars.

Joe went to Paris's birthday party in April - there are pictures on the web & this forum & then of course there was the meeting at Beverly Hills in May which was already mentioned. MJ also would have seen his father & everyone at his parents 60th wedding anniversary party 3 weeks before his death.

In big families, people will often become close to one sibling & then later to another as it depends on what is going on in their lives, what stage their children are at, lots of factors.

In some interview of a few years ago, LaToya said that they had a family day, one day a month. Always. I guess that wasn't going on anymore, if Joe hadn't seen Michael in two months?.

I've read that before. Anyone knows what is the original source for that?. (Not that I don't think he'd say that. We know he did before).

Aren't Katherine and Joe separated?. Why would they make that celebration?.
 
Also, why do people talk like that about Randy?. It was Randy who called Tom Mesereau to be Michael's lawyer. And Mesereau said that when he met Michael he was with Randy (and he didn't mention anyone else), so it seems they were close, at least then. And he must have trusted him to let him handle his things when he left the country.

Let's remember who got MJ to see T-Mez after his first lawyer almost enlarged the cluster fcuk that the trial already was.

Because, Some critics accuse Randy of being a thief towards his bro Mike and stealing Mike's money and now after Mike's death, they say that he's is trying to steal some money from the estate.

well, Mez was contacted by MJ's people the MINUTE HE WAS CHARGED . but he turned them down because he was busy with the Blake case . Mez said that, later when he stopped being Blake's attorney, Both MJ and Randy asked him to represent mj again and he agreed and went to meet MJ .


that what Mez himself said , yes we first thought it was Randy who brought him in but that was not indeed what happened .

Mez did not appreciate the media whore Geragos , and certainly talked about the Zlist lawyers who were forced on him ofcourse he ment Oxman . and believe it or not MJ was advised by these zlist lawyres to give the boot to Mez .
 
Give the boot to T-Mez? Oh god, that would have been horrible. Michael really had some sleazy horrible people around him :(
 
Michael and Jermaine were very close in the 1970's, but the distance between them appears to have started slowly with Michael's success with Off The Wall. I presume like many people Jermaine thought that by the time of The Jacksons, Destiny album Michael wasn't going to get any bigger and that he Jermaine Jackson would become the star of the Jackson family with his solo career at Motown and become the new Marvin Gaye. But Michael surpassed all expectations in his family, because remember none of Michael's solo albums at Motown were as successful as Jackson 5 albums.

that is some bullsh!t Joe & Leonard Rowe came up with after MJ had passed.

Seeing how Joe doesn't have a clue about anything MJ-related, I doubt he even knew if MJ was being paid in pounds, lira, euros or USD.

MJ kept his family away from his business and his life (for good reason obviously)

And to those who think Randy is a great brother: Do some research....and you will see, as it is ALWAYS the case in MJ-land, truth is STRANGER than fiction. And most often, some in his family turned out to be his own worst enemy.

well said. all joe and rowe cared about was getting their fingers into the 02 pie.hassleing mj when he had more important things to worry about. thats why he wanted joe kept away from him. hen they pulled the texas concert B.S and now a 300 mill lawsuit. will joe get a % of that?

MJ's family is his worst enemy. Everyone with two eyes knows that.
 
Well he had a big family and ofcourse there would be ups and downs and being the king of pop obviously his family thinks that he owes alot to them. I mean my older sis thinks i owe a lot to her too and sometimes its annoying. But they were family and look at all of them coming together and putting up an extroadinary and phenomenal ceremony.
