Michael Jackson was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award on Wednesday night at the Music of Black Origin Awards in Glasgow, Scotland.
According to the Daily Mail, Jermaine Jackson accepted the posthumous award on Michael's behalf.
Sister La Toya Jackson was also present to introduce a tribute to her late brother, in which Jermaine sang Charlie Chaplin's "Smile," the Daily Mail reports. Other performers contributed to the tribute as well.
Founded in 1996, the MOBO Awards are the first awards show in Europe to honor urban music.

It's actually fortunate that there are so many siblings...just managing & keeping Michael's Legacy Alive is a massive job, I'm sure.

So many tasks, so many decisions to be made...which tributes/awards/interview invites to accept, and who will attend on Michael's behalf.

Not to mention the individual invites that certain family members receive.

It's not like they can just pay someone else to do it. This is too personal and emotional and it all needs to be done while in the process of grieving.

It's gotta be difficult.
I'm just sayin'...

It's nice that Michael is still recieving awards like this and as MsMo said, his family are keeping his legacy alive but Marlon would probably have been my choice to accept the award...

 is very nice that his Brothers and Sisters to do that from there hearts to are hearts cause they know

"It looks like Jermaine Jackson HAS started to believe that HE is the next Michael Jackson! He picked up an award for his late brother at the MOBO awards in Glasgow and he’s pictured here KISSING the trophy. We’ve seen winners kiss their trophies before – but never someone ELSE’S award! It’s not like Jermaine EARNED the recognition. We wonder what he’ll do with it."
