Found a jermaine interview he gave during his book tour from last september. It was meant to be published in the huffpost but seems to have been cancelled and has appeared in some publication called the orchard times. I don't remember seeing it before but apologies if it's been posted before.

Nothing too new in it. He talks about the conrad murray trial (this was before the trial) and his suspicions over how mj was treated by all those working on this is it just before his death - but as usual his anger seems to be directed at all those working with mj rather than murray. He seems to compare the conspiracy of silence over the supposed sick state of mj in his last days to the pentagon attack on 9/11(?!!). I guess he must be one of those believing 9/11 was a conspiracy.

One interesting he said about mj's children is that he and he implied the rest of the family are against their using social media incl twitter but that mrs j is 81 and can't control them. His ghost writer, just says, 'like any parent dealing with teenagers', and you can imagine rolling of eyes at this point. Seems like the jacksons are getting in their excuses if there is a big negative blow out over the children's twitter accounts - they're just going to blame the children.

It seems like La Toya and Taj and other cousins were the ones mostly doing that. Were Randy, Janet, Jermaine, Marlon, Jackie or Tito?

I get the feeling that of Michael's siblings, La Toya is the one pushing for the most media exposure of the kids.

Jermaine's response about the social media was very different from Taj's in the Q/A, where he said that they didn't want the kids to feel "imprisoned".

No one seems to want to step up to try and help provide some guidance to these kids that would help protect their privacy. Seems like La Toya and Taj in particular like having Paris and Prince front and center.

The kids are the families new cash cow. the more publicity and intrest they create the more potential $ for the family. i guess taj prefers paris getting asked what it was liked to be raped by her dad rather than feel imprisioned (guess taj has never heard of a private twitter account is but then the tweets wouldnt end up everywhere would they) which is of course what mj did to them. taj is so wet hes pathetic what a let down to himself and michael he is. a typical jackson who will do anything to defend the families image at mj expence

Jemaine actually was concerned about the kids twitter account and how they were being exploited in the media. He actually replied to me by DM on twitter. before Paris was verified. Jermaine openly tweeted MJ would be rolling his eyes at Joe's ventures but that we shouldnt post hate.

I believe it is Latoya who has most contol over katherine and the kids. She openly dsicusses private convos with them to try and promote her own agenda. She was even present when they unveiled the artwork now in question_ Im certain she is behind them getting exposure.

Auntie Latoya is the ONE that got Paris twitter verified. She is the ONLY one in the family that openly tweets to the children and praises them for a job well done when they are in the media ..

Jermaine doesnt have any control over his mom, Latoya or what PPB are allowed to do. Hey I have no control over what my fam does either. I can confront them personally But I still wouldnt berate them publically becuase they are my fam .. That is the boat Jermaine finds himself in. You dont see him with them during any of this.

^ I just get the feeling jermaine is not aligned with alot of what is going on in the family. In the interview he said it would be great if all the brothers did a tribute round the world for mj and yet when the brothers went to japan he wasn't there and the brother's announcement that they would do a tour in mj's name (haven't heard anything about that since) he wasn't involved in that either.

I did find it refreshing to hear a famliy member sound a note of caution about the children's use of public social media but it was a bit mealy-mouthed to just blame the children for it - call out latoya if she's the one behind it. I'm not that keen on his his presenting himself as someone who is extra-protective of ppb. His concern in the interview when told ppb would be part of the cardiff tribute was so false, when he himself 'used' the children and their promised presence to publicise his vienna tribute 2/3 months after mj's death.
