Have yourself a merry christmas! A new song featuring an all star ensemble including Jermaine is released titled "A Merry Christmas". Featured artists are Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder, Larry King and many others! The special release is for charity of which proceeds are donated to BFI's initiatives to help children around the world. Get the single on iTunes and watch te teaser below.

now let me get this straight..MICHAEL was ALWAYS the one to write songs and donate the money to charity...I got that right so far?? NOW ..JERMAINE...has gotten everyone together..record a song.. and decided to donate the money to charity. While it is a noble thing that he has done and I am sure it will help MANY children....Jermaine is a Michael Jackson WANNA BE. Thats all!!

Please don't think I'm questioning you personally, but where does it say anything about Jermaine getting everyone together to record a song for charity? Isn't he simply one of many included in the project? Sure, it seems similar to what Michael did, but if proceeds are going to a needed/worthwhile cause in this case, there are worse things Jermaine could and has done. jmo

when did he said he wants to be like michael jackson?
let him do what he wants to do. for me its annoying what he is doing, but i dont care anymore.

On a serious note, do folks still purchase "charity singles?"

Who even knows that this song is out there, aside from us that is. LOL!

as I have explained to the poster above,,,I have gotten new reading glasses and I have misread the article....a thousand pardons to you..HOWEVER..even in getting this story wrong. ...Jermaine STILL wants to be Michael...that to me is obvious.
 
When did he say he wants to be Michael Jackson? Lemme guess.. when he dresses up like Michael, speaks like Michael, pretends to be Michael, claims Michael's success as his own etc etc, that is when he wants to be Michael Jackson! Like Duh!


Anyways, as long as it helps feed the hungry, as long as he actually accomplishes something with this, he should go for it.
 
So when is it getting released?????............I mean Christmas is already passed!!!!

I have just watched the video.

I am afraid I only recognised Dionne Warwick, Jermaine, Stevie Wonder and Larry King.

Forget charity jermaine, there's 3 under-employed men approaching pension age who are in dire need for a lead singer as they embark on an international tour.
 
well my opinion...I just watched the whole video..I hadn't seen it before..I LOVE the concept of the video and its message, imo...Jermaines big ole smiley face made his voice tolerable ...dont know if I was distracted by the happiness of the video..but..because this IS for charity,,,I think I might overlook his ,,not.so .good ..voice. Now to be fair to Jerm,,he had a pretty good voice back in the day,,now..NOT so much imo.
 
It's a song for "charity," BUT, who knows about it, aside from some of us?

I haven't noticed this particular project being discussed nor mentioned anywhere and the Christmas season is dang near over!

^^That's the only thing that caught my eye. I did not know Larry King could sing. Do they mean the elderly Larry King who had a show on TV.

Yes Larry king who had the talk show Larry King Live. He has a speaking part in the song.
the song is posted in this thread to listen to and see all the participants.
