I just would like the MJJC members to know that there was a very big Japan Premier event for MICHAEL in Tokyo last night. Here is a link to the video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qx3GTSC8PMc&feature=related

3,000 fans gathered in front of a famous historical building called "Kaiga-kan," and they enjoyed watching the projected moving images of Michael as well as the complete album mural and HMH video.

The fans had white gloves on and held them high, holding hands with people nearby. It was a beautiful occasion. They also played all the music from the album (not the whole songs, but the first 1-2 minutes each).

Although it is in Japanese, you can see the photos of the occasion in the article below:

Very great to see! Thanks for sharing this.
This promo is well done imo.

WOW !!!

THAT's what I call great promotion! What a wonderful arrangement.

very cool ,thanks for sharing. i wish they would do something like this in the uk!

God bless the King of Music, God bless Japan and God bless each and every Michael Jackson fan all around the world!!!We love you forever dearest Michael...
:)

Wow, MJ was always treated with so much love and respect in Asia! Good job Japan!!

shame its only japan with the major promotion, the uk one has been very poor compared to other artists...Pictures on the underground isnt really enough to make someone buy a album...

^ There is a 50,000 sq ft poster of the album in an open field right besides Heathrow Airport! What more do you want!

I wish I was there, omgggg. :lol::bugeyed
Very nice.

The times when a record company could afford promotion like HIStory are over!
Sony is doing good so far...

The Japanese always loved Michael, even in the last years! They're great.

Japan Exclusive:

There is going to be another big MJ event approaching in Japan. "This Is It" is going to be shown on TV on Christmas Eve on Japanese TV, and to celebrate this occasion, Travis Payne and the dancers who worked with Micheal for the O2 live will give special performances on the stage on 23rd December. They will show 3D films which had been supposed to be used for the live, and the dancers will show audience the dances they completed for the stage. Here is a link (although in Japanese). 2600 fans are invited for this Dec. 23rd event.

lol how is that going to sell albums? The only people who know about it is mj fans lol

Adverts in all papers, interviews on major channels, x factor, radio adverts, tributes etc etc this is what sells albums...its gets the momentum up...and people buy...

So take it upon yourself and advertise it.... tell your friends, post it on Facebook, etc.

Also, Sony has removed the link for some reason.
