Calling all Janet die-hards...Can somebody educate me on the songs that Janet has written either by herself or with help? has she composed, arranged, and/or produced any of her music? please lable the songs (ex: Together Again - writen by JJ, composed by JJ, arranged by...and so on and so forth)

Thanks!

Janet wrote, produced and arranged "Black Cat". Jellybean Johnson co-produced. I would also like to point out that Janet gives credit to Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis on all her songs Control - All for You (excluding "Black Cat") in writing and production because they're a team. Jimmy Jam also still credits Terry Lewis even though he didn't participate on the creation process of 20 Y.O. I know Janet wrote many of the songs on TVR alone but gave credit to Rene and J&L for their ideas. I know (based off interviews) Janet wrote New Agenda, That's The Way Love Goes (in her room at Jimmy Jam's house) and Together Again (at hotel in Europe). Sorry, to ramble on but I know many people think Janet didn't write her own songs just because J&L are credited. :)

yep :)

She writes or co-writes/produces most of her material between Control and 20 Y.O. She had one writing credit on an interlude on Discipline

Rodney Jerkins says he's got her writing again for her next album and she wrote and prodouced Make Me.

I always knew Janet wrote, co-wrote, produced, and co-produced a majority of her material. I always read all the song credits when I buy her albums. I do the same with Michael's albums. I'm glad she's writing again for this upcoming new album. I'm looking forward to seeing what she has to offer.

Didn't she write What'll I Do from the janet. album as well?
I like the version with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers that was on a picture disc better than the one on the album. According to the picture disc the song was written by Janet Jackson, Steve Cropper (who was in the Stax records house band), Joe Shamwell, Mick Jagger, & Keith Richards and was produced by Janet & Jellybean Johnson.
