Janet & Michael - would they have ever toured?

I was thinking since they did their Scream duet together, did Janet / Michael ever talk about touring together at some point??? And I mean either in the 80s for her Control, R.Nation, ... & or later on Post-Scream.


**Or** perhaps Janet being the opening act for Michael or headliner.?
or did they think it was tacky since they're brother & sister??
 
Janet was asked this question in an interview she said she likes to remember Scream as it is, but no touring whatsoever with Michael alone as it would be too much for her.
On the other hand she was eager for her brothers to tour together she was among those who spoke publicly about all of them being ready but Michael. She said she and the others were working on him. She said this during her Larry King Interview while promoting Discipline.

I don't think so.

I just believe that Michael wanted to do his OWN thing, without his family.

Although Janet did say that should would have been willing to open for Michael and the brothers if they ever performed together again. But I guess Michael just wasn't interested.
 
OMG I think that would be the best tour EVER !! I would have definatly gone, then again I would go if Michael decided to team up with Justine Beiber(I hate him :bugeyed).
Janet did say she was invited to the 30th anniversary to perform, but she was touring. I think that was on Larry King but I'm not 100% sure.
I would love another song from them, I think a nice slow, beautiful song would be great (not got my hopes up though). Janet has a beautiful soft voice, and when Michael sings in a soft voice that is amazingly beautiful :wub:
 
MJ would never tour with anyone. I honestly think that having an opening act is a little beneath him, whether it be with Janet or anyone else. He is just too huge of a star to have anyone else with him, he completely stands on his own. Thats why he's the greatest there ever was, the King needs no introduction!

I don't know about actually touring together, but I would have loved just to see them perform scream live one time at least

but from the TII concerts was announced to 18 days left for the tour to begin I always wondered if Janet would appear as a surprise guest at some point.. like, Mj doing scream..and then when it's janet's part we suddenly see her silluette in the background and bam there she is and she appears and does her part:D would be awesome

there were so many rumours that she would appear at one show

IMHO, I think she was anxious to tour with the brothers because her career took a nosedive after the superbowl & 3 flop albums...but nevermind.

A Michael & Prince tour would be more interesting to me. Especially if they performed together for a part of the show.
 
Janet had expressed interets in possibly touring with michael and her brothers in the past and I think travis payne said he and michael talked about janet possibly performing with him on TII.
 
Anything better then Kriss Kross and Rozalla as the opening act (*uch* dangerous tour *uch*)

agree hence why he kept away. working with the family ment trouble and he had been burnt in the past
 
Janet would'nt have wanted to tour with Michael I don't think as she probably would still have been bothered by the thought that people may think she's riding his coat tails. That was her hang up from her own mouth about doing anything musically with MJ again.

If the family were to do a tour, I don't think it should have been a regular concert just singing songs, but have all of the siblings perform together and do a revue type show with skits and stuff like they did in Vegas in the mid 1970s. That's really the only way it would have worked. Having separate shows wouldn't make any sense and would take too long. It would also be more expensive to run.

MJ is the KING..he doesn't need anyone to open up for him on his tours!! But it would've been cool for Janet to make a special apperance for TII and perform Scream with him..

yeah that would have been cool. even though ive never really being able to get into prince seeing those 2 on stage would have been something special

Hmm. Well, I said nothing wrong. Its a fact that MJ asked Janet to be opening act for his Dangerous tour. And the reason I say that it seems to be okay to disrespect MJ's family is because the most notorious baiters on this part of the forum are allowed to constantly troll topics

Unfortunately this is why we have had to close and clean multiple threads in this section. But, lets move on now and continue the thread. And a general warning to the thread no disrespecting members of Michael's family will be allowed. There is a fine line between criticism and disrepspect and the line is crossed far too often.
