Janet Jackson to appear on ‘The View’ and ‘Good Morning America'

ABC has revealed that Michael Jackson’s younger sister, Janet Jackson will appear on Good Morning America and The View on Monday, October 25th. She is making the media rounds to promote the highly anticipated motion picture, For Colored Girls. The film, based on the award-winning play “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf” by Ntozake Shange, also stars The View moderator and Oscar™ winner Whoopi Goldberg. It opens nationwide on November 5th.

The media blitz begins on Monday, October 25th when Janet Jackson appears on Good Morning America to discuss her life, career and new movie, From there, Jackson moves on to The View for her second publicity appearance of the day.

Because of Whoopi Goldberg’s connection to For Colored Girls, The View is set to celebrate the film with an entire week of appearances from its stars. On Friday, October 22, The View welcomes Tyler Perry, writer, director and executive producer. Janet Jackson and Loretta Devine will promote the film on Monday, October 25, followed by Thandie Newton and Tessa Thompson on Wednesday, October 28th, and Kerry Washington and Kimberly Elise on Thursday, October 28th.

After all of these years, does Janet REALLY need to be introduced like that.
 
Good I hope to f God that we alll don't ask about her brother's death, as every single interviewer has asked in 2009. Like she needs to re-live that.

I like that introduction very much, this is what she will forever remain.
In Germany people only refer to her as Michael Jackson's sister.

In my part of the world Janet is only that - "Michael Jackson's younger sister".
 
Janet gets on my darn nerves, like most people who were around MJ or were in his proximity at some point in time, but that introduction is ridiculous...especially in America.

We all know who Janet Jackson is. ABC found a way to put MJ's name in the press release.

I agree,just like they are announcing that Austin Brown is Michael Jackson's nephew or 3T are Michael Jackson's Nephews.We all know who they are related to Michael but do they have to announce that to make them look special. They are already special in their own right.:punk:

Unfortunately, They did say something about her brother's death while she was filming WDIGM2 and Showed her face in tears along with her after hitting stuff around and Tyler was Scared of what she might do next. DID you see the Clip for Coloredgirls when she was talking to her husband.I got Chills.And The line kinda tells about Don't say you're sorry.because sorry will be left at the door and don't say it on my Voicemail Ect.. It was like she's saying to those people who really Hurt her Brother and her family,Don't say you're sorry because it's too late and it is too late. MJ is no longer here with us. Man.. It's gonna be a goodwhile until we all get justice for MJ.:angel:

that wasn't in the press release it's an article from the examiner, anybody can write an article for the examiner like wikipeida.
 
I knew Barbara Walters had to ask about Michael's children and how were they Just like Robin Roberts because the last time she saw them was at the Big Media Funeral when she was sitting in the second Row behind the family. And I knew Janet was going to repeat saying the same thing "All of my Nieces and Nephews are doing just fine,thanks for asking." But Babs was really pushing it when she wanted the answer to be just surrounding Michael's Kids.Why can't people just accept the answer they were given ? Janet and The rest of the elders did the right thing. There are more people in the Family who are still sad about Michael's death besides Michael's kids, That's why they include everyone when asked about them. Maybe when MJ's Kids are old enough like their other older cousins,They will all say what they want about their father.Hope The media will not push them to do an interview when they are not ready to answer them.

Janet cares and the interviewer cares because she asked about Austin. This interview wasn't to focus on the family or janet's personal life, the mention of Janet's family was brief, just aksing how everyone is doing.

lol, obviously they are primarily interested in how his children are doing b/c they are HIS children, not one of his dozens of nieces and nephews or other relatives. it's only logical, when my uncle died ppl were asking how his son was doing, not how I or my other cousins were doing.

I saw the interview on The View this morning. It was fun. Sherry asking Janet about cutting her hair short. Janet being embarrassed asking if it's okay to say the word "b***h" and Joy Behar saying, oh we use that word around here everyday. Of course Barbara wants to know how Michael's children specifically are doing. It's only natural.
 
^ yeah because she sooooo gave a sh*t while he was here, not to mention when she was helping to drag his name through the mud with her part in the whole Bashir fiasco, along with also spreading falshoods and lies about him, and all the other negative BS. Barbara can just go shove it. That goes too for the other "concerned" women on the view (minus Whoopi who actually gave a crap when it mattered).

Just had to say something about that. Oh and my irritation wasn't directed at you suzynyc, just so you know, lol.

I saw her shyness about saying that on the air but hey It's the Girls from the View and They are a mess. And I know what you mean about It's natural and she had to know that she or another person was going to ask her but it looked like When Janet said all her Nieces and Nephews were fine and Barbara tried to just derived that question to Just MJ's kids ,Janet Repeated the answer with some discomfort but she got through it like a true professional.:punk::clapping:
 
Did Joy really say people talk lots of crap about Janet and family (meaning MJ) and how do she handle it? o_O knowing damn well Joy herself have done the same especially to Michael!....even after he passed! Damn hypocrite! Man if I was Janet I would have called her out! But, I get it, she wasn't there for that! All in all it was a good interview but, they are so MJ noisy...Barbara!
