Lady Gaga must really have hit the big time – Janet Jackson has revealed she was the first to see the star in Gaga and wants to do a duet with her, à la Beyoncé.

The Poker Face singer was ‘definitely’ a collaboration target, Janet Jackson told Metro’s Ann Lee in an exclusive chat.
‘What I love about Gaga is her story, where she came from’ revealed the 44-year-old, who is now saying ‘I told you so’ by claiming she was the first to tip her for big things.

‘Before she made it, before anyone knew who she was, I knew who she was and, to see her finally make it, I was so happy,’ she insisted, before adding: ‘If we were to work together that would be cool.’

For now, the little sister of the late King of Pop is channelling her personal grief into her role as a grieving mother in new film Why Did I Get Married Too?

The singer admitted her inspiration ‘stems from recent tragedies for my family’.

The film is due for release on September 3.

i think this would just boost lady gaga out there even more b/c lots of the older artists wants to work with her, patti labelle said in an interview wouldlike to do a duet with her and i went to madison square guarden awhile ago and we saw lenny krativez was in the audience and fans were asking him about a duet with her and he sais he would like too, it make people go wow these legends want to work with her, she must have that it facor if you know what i mean

gaga has media factor...don't know about it factor...i don't think any artist is going to publicly say no to gaga...but we'll have to see what actually happens.

i heard weird al yankovic get pressed about working with gaga. but he said he never made that commitment, he said the MEDIA made that commitment.

In any case, Gaga teaming up with Janet is not about to do anything special for Gaga's career right now. She is the IT girl right now.

And that 'little sister' comment is so gonna piss off some Janet fans, they just hate that!

i think its quiet unfair to say Gaga would only do it for the MJ connection. she did some radio show after the x-factor show and she was talking about Janet's influence on her and how she was honered to share the stage with her or words to a simillar effect.

Gaga is a worthless degenerate. I have no problem with my girls liking Bieber. I hope America and the world flushes Gaga down a proverbial toilet. It's sad if Janet one of my favorites for over 20 years is looking to that creature for a career boost.
