I agree with what he/she is saying.
I think Janet out of the whole family uses his name the least, I mean she has had only a handful of interviews were she talks about him and most times, she didn't bring it up.
Where as everytime I hear about Latoya or Jermain(on offence to them) doing an interview they always seem to talk about Michael and his kids and nothing else

It makes me wonder if the shoe was on the other foot would everything still be the same. What if Janet had died on June 25, 2009 and Michael postponed This Is It. You’d be up in an uproar. What if Michael still chose to do the concerts? Would you accuse him of being insensitive and not grieving enough for Janet? I’m sure you wouldn’t. I’m baffled as to how you can tell someone how to grieve the loss of a sibling. Janet can’t just stop her life and her career. Was that what you were hoping for? What about her fans? If you’re still grieving, I send my condolences to you, I’m still sad myself. But don’t patronize others just because YOU are still going through the emotions and others aren’t.

As the poster asks, what if the shoe were on the other foot? I see it like this, the manner in which some Janet fans have been accusing MJ fans of behaving towards her is the very same manner in which they would've behaved towards MJ as well. If it were Janet that had passed, Michael would've gotten flak from them for going ahead with his concerts, for flying right back to do his shows after the Memorial, for saying anything in the media that they may find going against Janet. They would be the first ones as well to point out that MJ and JJ were'nt close. See when you flip it, some Janet fans would be acting like the very MJ fans this blogger is fed up with.

So, makes no sense in pointing fingers. The situation is what it is.

And you want to know what I think is interesting? Not only would he have went right back to work after Janet's "memorial", That would have been the end of it. I don't think he would have done interviews about her or gone on an award show and performed in tribute to her (not because he didn't Love or miss her, but because of the simple fact that he was a very private and shy person) and that would have been another thing for JJ's fans to get angry at Him for...so yea, the Janet hate needs to cease...I'll admit.

That's exactly what I think too.
 
i think its a myth about janet/mj fans not getting along. i as a fan of them both completely agree with; this statement. to me , one has nothing to do with the other, i love them both, im just a little partial to Mikey cuz he's so cute

Well said and just to add that Michael would have never been someone to run his mouth of for the sake of publicity in the first place. I doubt he'd have commented with ''life goes on'' when/if asked about a siblings passing wouldn't have even done interviews. Michael had a lot of dignity and self respect something he never lost until the very end, what made him lovable is that he was soo damn different from the rest of them.
 
that person is way too inflammatory to be objective. they are accusing Michael of being a drug abuser. you have different members of the family saying different things about Michael..and depending on the blogger's love or hate for Michael, the blogger chooses which family member to believe. the bottom line is, this blogger is spreading b.s. about Michael, and B.S. about Michael is not allowed on this site.

You're not serious right? some of them HATE MJ fans with a passion, they love to add how 'crazy' they think we are.:D
 
^^^Well some of you MJ fans are indeed really disturbed. And that opinion just comes from reading your posts. And that's not insulting anyone, I'm just stating my opinion. And I get along with a lot of MJ fans, just not the mental cases.

But in any event, I think had Janet died, everyone who was to attend TII would have said something along the lines of "Well he already had this contract to do the concerts. He can't stop because everyone will lose money...and blah blah blah". As someone stated, there would have been no Janet tributes, no interviews, no nothing. I doubt anyone would say Mike was using Janet to promote himself. You may disagree, but it's quite clear that would have been the argument. This psychological displacement of channeling your anger towards Janet is not very becoming and it makes Mike fans look bad, including myself. Though I'm not one for hate.

The amount of threads being closed here debunks that myth, there have been Mike and Jan fans battles here since her interview on Primetime. And I like both of them but there are people of both fanbases that don't like the other sibling.

And there are some Janet fans that really hate Michael fans.

your point proved, MarielovesMJ. right under Gaz's nose, people still are into personal attacks, and don't read or honor rules. and they keep it up, over and over and over again.
 
This threads pointless...people with a problem with one or the other need to move on! They are siblings for goodness sake, why argue with the other... kinda ridiculous. :doh:
