On June 26,2010 Genevive will be perfoming for this organization ,who does not have the family support. as stated by her father on CNN. I was wondering , maybe the 2nd generation is supporting this event,which would include PP&B , or her mother/manager just booked her this gig.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with the 1st generation to ask them when are they going to get their act toghter and pick and organization or form their own . I have tried their Twitter acct but they no longer reply to them (Tito use to fill up my page with his going to the roof,and shout outs) I was going to support their cause but since they cant get their act toghter it ONE MILLION TREES FOR MICHAEL
 
i dont think any ones supporting but her mom and brother's i looks like another money thing..tickets are 150 a pop and 500 to eat dinner...

Randy Jackson says his parents are being manipulated by people who are just out to make a buck -- problem is, his parents are sharing in the profits.

Randy has been tweeting today, bitterly complaining about the Jackson Family Foundation event Saturday night at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Bev Hills.

Randy says, "Let me be clear, there's no legitimate 'Jackson Family Foundation' that my brothers & sisters are aware of." And, Randy says, "I know my parents would not be involved if they really knew the characters they have aligned themselves with."

The Foundation, which lists on its website Joe Jackson as the Chairman and Katherine Jackson as Vice Chairman, is selling tickets for the event for as a much as $500 a pop. A spokesperson for one of the organizers -- voiceplate.com -- told TMZ some of the money will go to charity. He would not say how much.

And remember just days after Michael Jackson died, when Joe held a news conference announcing his new record label and touting a rapper who was signing with him? That rapper is singing at tonight's event.

 
I have a strong dislike for deadbeats and Randy falls under that category.
 
So what happened at the big "party?"

I haven't seen any reports thus far, does anybody know how things went?
 
This isn't the convention to my knowledge this was something else but it was supposed to be a big thing too.
 
Yes, I'm talking about the party that was to take place last night at the Beverly Hills Hilton, not the "fanvention" which I believe will take place in August.

Yo, I can't wait to see the YouTube clips of the performances from last night??!! I'm sure if this party actually happened, we will "eventually" see some clips.

Mickey Rooney serenaded the Michael Jackson fans at the Beverly Hilton tonight. The 85 year old entertainer was a child movie star.

Corey Feldman made a speech. :doh::doh:

Genevieve Jackson, Randy’s daughter, performed. But Randy Jackson has made proclamations denouncing the whole event tonight.

Whatever. There was also supposed to be a performance by Marshall Thompson, the remaining member of the R&B group The Chi-Lites. Thompson has become Joseph Jackson’s bucket boy, following him around and saying he’s got a record label with Jackson.

Both Katherine and Joseph Jackson showed up. Katherine didn’t sign copies of her book,…

Mickey Rooney, COREY FELDMAN, Genevieve Jackson, and the remaining member of the Chi-Lites. It's a good thing Chris Brown didn't turn up, he's already having a hard time getting his career back on track. Performing at this event would have been the nail in his coffin, in my opinion.

Oh well, I hope the $500.00 ticketholders had a good time and got their moneys worth, because that list of entertainers is just, well...., SAD! Maybe the food was very, VERY good. LOL!

I don't know why "some" family members, namely Joe Jackson (LOL) continue to buck the Estate, which benefits his wife, his three grandchildren and the scores of family members that Ms. Katherine CONTINUES to help out financially. Not even to mention that the sale of tee-shirts comes under the direction of Bravado Merchandising.

Messing with these high-profile BUSINESS people, when the return for Joe Jackson is so small. What's the point! On top of that, I'm almost positive that Joe is folking over a "small" cut to the MAGIC guy along with the lone Chi-Lite member.

Joe Jackson needs THREE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS in order to complete his Gary "dream." Homeboy is going to have to sell a whole lot of tee-shirts, a whole lot of party tickets and a whole lot of books in order to come even close to earning THREE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS.
 
First of all, WHY in the world would a person want to sing "Human Nature" or any of Michael's songs, to be honest witcha. Especially when you have a voice like her's.

As my mother would say: "Bless her heart!" LOL!

I would say: "I sure hope homegirl has a B PLAN."
 
Give the kid a break. She is young, and has lots of time to hone her talent. And who said you need talent to make it in the music industry.???

if music is just a way to make money you don't need talent and 90% of the "artists" out there confirm it...but there are a lot of folks with some standards when it comes to art and even entertainment,maybe you are not one of them and that's fine..fact is my ears tell me she has zero talent.....she sings worse then those kids on youtube making MJ covers...the only difference is they don't profess themselves artists and have no sense of self entitlement to do so probably because they are random kids with random last names.

You are over reacting to my post. I want people to stop beating up on the KID. She is pursuing a career. Give her credit for trying. No one on this board knows what's in her heart. Her level of commitment to her craft. How shocking is it really ,that a JACKSON wants a music career, when MUSIC is the family's business.?? Stop throwing poison darts at an innocent kid.!!!

she's not a kid...I believe she's very committed to her career and works hard,if she says so I have no reasons not to believe her as well, but it's irrelevant artistically speaking,you can work like crazy your entire life and still be mediocre..
point is,if she wants to be taken seriously she has to deal with critics..like a pro...I didn't make fun of her,i didn't insult her,I just expressed my opinion about her talent or in this case lack of it..gotta deal with it...I mean there are ppl who don't like the Beatles,Elvis or MJ....go figure Genevieve Jackson!

She is 20 years old turning 21 this year, since when are 21 year old children? Geez she is even older than I am
