I'm looking forward to this.

This album is my favourite Christmas album! ^_^

Motown should definitely promote also the other old classic albums with a beautiful and strong voice of young Michael including his solo albums...!!!

Michael Jackson is not the GH artist, and all the old albums should be re-released!

I agree a 100%. I want digitally remastered albums of young Michael and the Jackson 5, not all the greatest hits stuff.

thanks but....no I am definately not buying this..
nothing that is not approved by the Estate from my end...

I don't think the Estate could approve the release of Jackson 5 recordings, even if it wanted to. I think the rights belong to Motown, no? So it's up to Motown only to decide whether to release the material or not. Correct me if I'm wrong though, cause I am not an expert in these things...

Personally, I would love to buy all the J5 recordings. I own Michael's solo albums and a couple of J5, but I'd really love to get all of them. I wanted to buy them for years, but couldn't find them anywhere.

I have the original version and have played this every x-mas for years since I was a child. I simply love this album! I will definitely be buying this version for the extra tracks.

That's always been an album that I've wanted to buy but never did. I'll be buying it.

While you are preordering this, buy OFF THE WALL $5.49 and THRILLER for $5.99 and give at Christmas....

Thanks for posting this!

your probably right, the recordings are owned by the record companies, random releases will always be coming out like this and has before michael even died.

ahhh this is heaven im getting this too...before you know it christmas will be here. sad, michael wont be here with us, i know he loved the x-mas decorations. i saw mommy kissing santa claus is my fav.

I think it's a great idea to do this re-release & it probably would have happened anyway as Michael was doing the concerts :)

I will get this. The best thing about Christmas is listening to Christmas music.:punk:

OH YES - I'm buying this & blasting it!

J5's I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus is the CLASSIC!!!

You know what's weird?

The Jacksons at this time (some still are) Jehovah Witnesses yet they recorded X-mas albums.

I know, it's for business, but just an observation.

I already have one Jackson 5 Christmas DVD;
but now I am going to buy another one, and
share it with a love one. :jump:

The Jackson 5 Christmas album has always been my favourite!

Where I live, they always play the John Mellencamp version. The J5 made a Christmas album because they had no choice in what they recorded at Motown. There's also some pictures of the brothers dressed as Santa. Motown had a lot of their acts make Christmas albums. The only acts that got control was Marvin Gaye & Stevie Wonder, and that was only after they threatened to leave (Stevie) or refused to record until they got their way (Marvin).
