i live in baton rouge, Louisiana and snow is very rare here. but it's everywhere now there's 6 inches of it. i'm going to go look at it some more. i'll post more latter.
 
Hi tbron, I'm in New Orleans and it was snowing here too which is very rare here too. I took a few pics with my cell phone. I'll post them when I have them uploaded. :D
 
The streaks you see on some of the pics is tape residue from when we had to tape our windows to protect our windows from bad weather. Sorry about that! Here are my pics! :D

great pics. what part of new orleans do you live in? because my aunt said they didn't get much in the 3rd ward.
 
that's awesome I live in Dallas/Ft Worth and it only "snows/sleets" once a year here if even that, and that doesn't happen till Feb.
 
Yeah, the snow was a nice surprise when I woke up. lol :)

that's not bad, because baton rouge has only had snow 3 times in my lfe. 1988 ,2003,2008 i was only 2 months old in 1988 and in 2003 there wasn't much snow so this was a big deal to me. i was out there for 8 hours(not in a row). i had the time of my life.
 
I was post the couple pics i took of the snow here in louisiana. Last time it snowed here in Abbeville/ Lafayette area was in 1988 i was in the 3rd grade. Imma post my pics when i get em together.

i heard Los Angeles is also getting snow :mello: Now That's Rare. Weird how places rarely get it are getting it all around the country?

Yeah, and then places that SHOULD have snow (read: FINLAND!), don't. :mello: (we did have some weeks ago but it's gone now.. I don't want another black christmas.. )

Really? It was coming down pretty good for a little while but I've live in the 7th ward though.

Global warming has really taken its toll in Europe in Romania for example it hasn't snowed in years
I remember when I was little we used to have so much snow during winter you couldn't get out of the house without a shovel lol now we have some of the warmest winters we've had in the past century. It's really alarming...I think the end is coming :ph34r:
