On June 26th during the Opening Ceremony of XVI Edition of Mediterranean Games - Pescara (Abruzzo) [Italy], italian singer Eros Ramazzotti dedicated his song 'L'Orizzonte' (The Horizon) to Michael. At the end of the song, Ramazzotti says:"Ciao Michael" (Around 3:35).

The chorus of 'L'Orizzonte' reads like:

This is because,
I think only of you,
I think only of you
the air is clear and clean as I've ever seen
I think only of you and in the soul
it's already an intimate certainty the promise you make to me

THE ORIZON
I'll be lying,
if I said that,
for the love I have ever cried ..
and I would not be sincere,
if I say no too
More than a heart, I hurt, you know.
Today the wind that raged inside me,
has now calmed down and no longer wobbly.
This is because,
I think only to you,
I think only to you ...
the air is clear and clean as I've ever seen.
I think only to you and inside the soul ..
has already promised an intimate certainty that you do to me
The horizon that I have in front of me,
so clear as it appears now,
I finally will embrace, because,
the horizon is the image of you.
If you know me,
you know well that,
I die for friendship ..
and if I'm changing a little bit, just because I know,
what a deception, what is it.
I think only to you,
I think only to you ..
the air is clear and clean as I've ever seen.
I think only to you ..
and in the soul,
has already promised an intimate certainty that you do to me
I already know how to turn long caressed ..
and even more,
if you ask more love,
I will make you feel more loved than ever.
The horizon that I have in front of me,
so clear as it appears now,
I finally will embrace, because,
the horizon is the image of you. "
CIAO MICHAEL

Many great Italian artists have gently reminded Michael ...
some names that Albano said that he did not want to copy it... "Really?"
Mina, Adriano Celentano, Maestro Muti, Massino Ranieri, Renato Zero, Sophia Loren....
