It's been on and off for me for days. It's usually difficult to log in during heavy internet traffic times, like when people are logging on from their workplaces in the afternoon or morning all at the same time. If you wait a few hours for the traffic to calm down, it often helps. Though lately it's been acting up even more than usual, even after I've managed to log in.
