How do i embed a youtube videos into posts?

it should be very simple - just copy/paste from the embed code on the right side of the youtube page.

however - it doesent work for me, and maybe this is your issue too?

However, some areas on MJJC seem to not allow HTML code, e.g. the "board talk" sub forum.

But it works well in the 2000 watts area.

Well, what tricked me in the beginning was that on different forums they have different codes. On this forum you simply copy paste the embed and voila! the video pops up easily.. for me.
but, on another mj forum i visit embed isn't enough..i have to put embed and then put [youtube] embed [/youtube] on either side. occasionally on some forums.. the url has the video show rather than simply the link.
