I don't know if anyone knows for sure but indications were it (the 'Gangsta' version) was originally recorded when he was in Bahrain and it was updated later to the No Friend of Mine version when he got to Vegas.

That is my guess.

I read somewhere that a song called "Blue Gangsta" was recorded for Invincible..
Only rumors anyway..

Like I said in my post, noone really knows for sure. I believe what I do because it first showed up as Gangsta shortly after DJ Whoo Kid met Michael in Bahrain and said he brought back some tapes from Michael. Then later there was another report that Michael had been in the studeo in Vegas witht he second rapper who is on No Friend of Mine. Now the original could have been from taping from an earlier album. Who really knows and it did not have to have anything to do with what Whoo Kid said either... it just seemed likely to me.

Tempamental feat. Michael Jackson and Pras - No friend of mine (Gangsta)

Later renamed No Friend Of Mine and featured Pras (of the Fugees), this is a song by a relatively unknown rapper Tempamental, featuring prominent backing vocals by Michael, made available in late 2006 on Tempamental's MySpace web page.

It was later confirmed by Michael's PR that he had neither recorded nor released such a song.
