What are your FAVORITE MJ phrases? Silly stuff he's said in interviews, speeches, whereever, that made u just crack up laughing or make u adooorrreee his ebonics?

I think my all time favorite is the Bad video, "dis is haah skoo, day ain't no majahs" :lol: I think for me, nothing can beat it lol

I love it when he always says "From the man on the streets to the lady who scrubs toilets in harlem" He says it almost EVERY SINGLE interview and its like...engraved in his mind for some reason LOL I love it.

How about TV Guide interview where MJ says he comes from the same planet as Elizabeth Taylor. Interviewer asks what planet and MJ says:

"Capricious Anomaly in the Sea of Space" Oh man oh man. lol

i just love it in general when he's sarcastic. Like in most of the PTL interview with lisa marie. "Yeah, I'm gonna put an eye here" (on his forehead) LOVE IT!

So what about u guys. What are some memorable MJ moments? LOL

I think one of my favorites is the album signing at the music store where the woman gave him a ring and asked him to marry her. He put the ring on and after she left asked his people "What did she say?" The told him and said "you put the ring on". He briefly studies his hand and holding it up before him calls after her as she is being escorted out "See you at the wedding"

He said it so deadpan I crack up every time I think of it. He must have a wicked sense of humor.

One of my all time fav's is the bit in the PHM where he starts up about the Salvation army lol

the PHM (private home movies) are full of MJ silly gem stones :lol: like:

and when he responds to Bashir:

Cockney accent* "I'm gowing too arsk yoo" "It's a noice intavioow, bootiful intavioow"

I'm sorry but.... Bashir asking MJ about plastic surgery. He went on and on about all this stuff he supposedly did and he was like "your lips have changed. And in a way I can understand it," and MJ was like "But I'm happy with my lips," Bashir was like "no not about the lips specifically" :lol:

Love that part...MJ's such a smart azz sometimes lol
 
It's not exactly a phrase ... but When Michael was grooving to "Ignition" in the SUV with Brett Ratner on PHM. MAAAAAAAAAAAN I love that!!

I'll think of some MJ phrases in a few.

I love it when he's sarcastic, like in LWMJ he says "I had a little beard here" and then tells about how some ignorant fool had written that he had had a beard transplant and he goes like "What, I can't grow a beard now?". I just love the way he says it.

It is from the video of the Virgin Megastore signing of Invincible. I think the film of it is on You Tube somewhare but it is in parts and I don't remember which part that was in. I've never heard anyone comment on it and think maybe they miss it but he definately says it.

racism and how the record industry took advatage of many black
artists - He has quite a few sarcastic remarks in this speech ..

The one about the eye? I bet he likes the Twilight Zone as much as I do!! That one episode of the alien with the 3rd eye on the forehead?? CLASSIC!
 
I like when MJ was working with Chris Tucker and he had say in PHM "It's hard working with Chris Tucker, cuz his eyes just pop outta his head, cuz he's so funny..." :lol: And then in the vid he couldnt stop laughing and CT was making up lines to the chinese chef and all Mike did was wave his hand to him...and they couldnt stop laughing :wink: lol

I love when he said in the Ebony interview that by putting his soul into his work is how he escapes death. He puts his soul into his work so it will live on after he is gone. That is inspiritational. B)

I liked the part in Private Home Movies its right at the start when there is a clip of MJ's Bros having a Snow Ball or fight or somthing and he says he wants nothing to do with it lol i dunno why but i just liked the way he said it, and i also like the secne in PHM when MJ is in the Supermarket and he throughs frisbay in one of the isles then he acadently knocks somthing over and walks away as if he didn't do anything lol
 
I think for me the most funniest is when Mike can't even get a funny/witty answer out in the first place because he's too busy laughing, ie Japanese interview, that one cracks me up :lol:.
 
This cracks up nobody but me but I can't help it..everytime this question comes up I can't help but think of him holding his fingers up ever so gracefully in front of him as if he's holding something by a thread as he says to Bashir, "they talk about me like I'm some kind of an idiot that would just be

The moment that will stick in my mind is also one in which he didn't speak. It was the first time I had ever watched him in something impromptue. It was his live appearance on SMAP in Japan. The SMAP hadn't known he was coming and it was a last minute thing. After a while sitting and talking with them, I guess the appearance was supposed to be over. Michael had subtly signaled with his hands to that effect. He got up out of his chair and started walking back to a full wall LED screen that the SMAP had been displaying images on as a backdrop. The cameras were still rolling and Michael was totally oblivious of them because of his fascination with the screen. The SMAP kind of looked at each other smiling and some followed unobtrusively. The cameras show Michael walking up to the screen and carefully touching it with his fingertips, a look of child's wonderment on his face. He was in another world. You could just see it. I learned something about him that day.

2006 sounds right. They took it off You Tube pretty quick after it aired. I don't know if it ever got put back. I remember thinking at the time that we would see an LED screen in his next live performance.

That was funny! He said a lot of things during the signing that were "lol"able..

There was one interview, it really wasn't what he said was funny. but he did nothing but laugh through the entire thing.

Also in another interview with Jackie & Him the guy was talking to him about his voice and he was like, whats gonna happen when your voice changes. Michael kind of shrugs and just says "It'll just change!" ;)
