IJCSLY - A Single, But No Video?

Was there ever a reason given why the first single from Bad, I Just Cant Stop Loving You didnt have a video? I guess its the same as The Girl Is Mine from Thriller, which was the first single, a duet, and it didnt have a video either. We can only wonder what they would have been like now.

Well he was working on the bad video and late preperations for the under-prepared bad tour tokyo shows was going on

^^ AS well as filming Moonwalker, I know. But it seems strange that coming off Thriller, people were expecting with a new song of MJ, a video. And both TGIM and IJCSLY are both duet ballads that didnt have a video. Even Liberian Girl (while not a duet) had a video and the song isnt that strong really to be a single or have a video and yet IJCSLY which is a stronger song didnt. It was the only single from BAD not to have a video. Not even a retro.
