If it wasn't for the internet, what would you not know or not find out?

For me I would not have known about other MJ fans in the world. And all of these MJ sites that I had looked up. Because where I live I am still probably the only known MJ fan. I didn't know there were still thousands of other MJ fans in the world. Especially after the 93 allegations came out. The internet is still my only connection to them.

Another thing I would not have known about is all of the Sims and Sim City games there is. I only first knew about the Sims games when I remember seeing a commercial on MTV when Sims 2 first came out. I didn't know about Sims 1 until I had looked it up on the internet. I knew about the existence of the Sim City game. When I had played it just for fun in my one computer class when I was in junior high. I have been addicted to any of the Sims games ever since.

That is all I can think of right now.

I live in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania in the U.S. to tell you the truth I used to know one other MJ fan where I live. That is my one older cousin (Only through marriage). She even showed me Michael's Dangerous Bucharest Concert for the first time when I was 12 years old. I just loved the concert of course. But a year later when the 93 allegations came out. She became one of the most biggest MJ haters that you will ever want to meet. Even now she still hates him as much as she did then. So I was practically on my own when it came to Michael Jackson. Well only up until my high school library got the internet. And I was on their internet constanetly looking at MJ sites and stuff. Only because I didn't have the internet at home yet. I even wanted to go to school early just so I can be in some MJ site before school started. And the main purpose of the library's internet was for educational reasons. I think I was in the school's library more times than I was in an actual classroom. I couldn't help myself Michael was very important to me. And I had to be in those MJ sites. I was just so obsessed with him back then. I think he was the main reason why I almost didn't graduate high school. Because Michael was all I could think about back then.

I wouldn't be a member here and not know most of Michael's career.
Because you can't believe the local newspapers today, most of them are tabloids and tv is just like tabloid only in motion.

I wouldn't have known songs like 'everybody gotta learn sometimes' Old 80's songs, because on most of the radio stations they play new modern songs which I totally don't like.

I would have spend so much money on gameconsoles, because if I didn't have internet available, I wouldn't have seen those cheaper sites to order games and consoles.

Internet in one word is just like 'awesome'

I wouldn't have 90% of my knowledge.

I'm 15 and you can't just depend on a school to teach you so the internet is like...everything.

Started being on the internet at University when I had to find the most actual literature for research all around the world.
So yeah... lots of my knowledge of all kind is coming from doing information searching online. I love comparing how different sites report news! lol I'm a news junkie in general.

wow thats a very amazing story thank you for sharing with me see if wasnt for he internet i wouldnt talk to awsome pepole like you

The biggest thing is probably that I wouldn't have get to know other MJ fans and probably wouldn't be such big fan as I'm now.

the internet allows me to have books to read without worry of losing them. it allows me to find info in books that i otherwise wouldn't find. it allows me to be constantly aware that MJ has many fans. it allows me to listen to the music that i really wanna listen to. radio doesn't do that. it allows for me to buy things that i otherwise cannot buy. and it allows for opportunities that otherwise would not happen. it's a great device.

I completely agree with you. can you imagine how it was before the internet was invented.

I know it's sad to say but I wouldn't even be the same person if it wasn't for the internet.

It's taught me so much about history, music, movies, cultures, news, politics, how to read body language and soo much more! I wouldn't be a MJ fan and I would have no idea about music before my time.

I love the internet.

internet is the tool my digging gold(the gold-digger of your inner world), like a gift bestowed by GOD
if without that tool........ hmmmmm i doubt what kind of tool GOD would find for me...
whatever i'm very satisfied with the tool-------internet!!

:D

well if it wasnt for the internet i wouldnt of had some wonderful friends i have found!!! also ive always been a huge fan of mjs even before the internet! so its kept me up to date on him when he was lying low!!!

Life without internet. I don't even want to think about that!

LOL!

It's funny how we are talking about it as if it's essential for survival yet the internet hasn't always existed and to this day, millions of people do not have it.

what would you do if your internet broke down? lol.

That's happened for a few times.

The longest i've went without the internet was four days and I went crazy. :mello: I don't watch much TV or listen to the radio so I just felt "lost" lol if that makes any sense. Then when I got my internet back I was like "Wow look how much I've missed during these days"

Not to mention the fact that when I don't go on my e-mails for a few days I end up with like 30 e-mails in my inbox -_-

I wouldnt have found what I want to do in life, video production/editing. Its my passion and what I was put on this earth to do.

If it wasn't for the internet, what would you not know or not find out?

The birth of the internet has certainly opened the information highway of knowledge, communication...

However...

I would have continued, and continue to utilize the Library, books etc....like I, we have before she came along...

:angel:Knowledge Is Growth
