I wrote this poem about a year after my girlfriend dumped me..

I never knew I would write a poem.. lol. but I did write this along time ago. It was at 5 o'clock in the morning and i couldn't sleep. The scary thing was that it was my first poem I ever wrote and the words just basically wrote itself i didn't lift the pen. I had been with a girl for almost 2 years and then she dumped me for no reason. She used George's classic line from seinfeld, "the: It's not you it's me" line lol

Anyways here it is, and comment are welcomed!

BTW my inspiration for this of course was Michael Jackson



The Pain Within My Soul

The feelings are gone
The happiness is gone too...
The passion in my heart for escapism
through the art of dance, is gone.
The laughter aswell...

All gone, along with my innocense & smile
The joy and brightness upon my face, was stolen from me
All in a blink of an eye...
Shattering me into a million pieces,
Devastating me, and filling me with tears.
Leaving me
... all alone with:

My fear.
My fear for destiny, and what has yet to come for me
Or, what probably may never come again...
My fear for Thee allmighty, and the closed gates of heaven
Or Lucifers open and intense fire...?
