they been working on it since last year and on twitter jackie said its their best album yet and wonder is it coming out later this year or early next year and will their agree to a tour

Jackie said that? I've nothing against the man (he seems lovely actually) but if he thinks he can top the likes of Triumph and Destiny he's got another thing coming!

I believe the brothers' have the talent's and a large fan base all the need is the right producers

Large fan base without Michael? I don't think so. How many copies did 2300 Jackson Street sell?

Your right, they can't top them they are classics !! I don't think they could top victory either. I love that album :punk:
I wish them the best and I probobly will buy the album , but I think without MJ there is no Jacksons, atleast not as we know it...

they have prob realised they will make more money calling mj a druggie instead

judging by what happen today, i really wonder will thier new album succeed like they want at school, this guy (who is a big music lover) ask all my classmates if they're buying the jackson and they were like why all like umm no why would they buy music from people who are has beens and they're only familar and listened mj some didn't even know he was in a group, thought he was a only child and its sad that people don't show the respects to the j5 i mean they inspired many of the young pop groups they listened to now

I almost forgot about that, I don't follow twitter much. Maybe they want to focus on the trial and relase something after..then again who know when the the actual trial when start and how long that will take. I like the 2 songs they were working on in the show.

Did any of the brothers or the producer mention a season 2 of the show?

Judging by the rate of productivity on the Dynasty programme it could be years, LOL.

lol ture remember just before the 30th anniversay back in 2001 during an interview with the brothers randy said they had an album coming out and it been 9 yrs

Unfortunately for the surviving siblings of the Jackson 5, no album released by them have the hope of being successful. THE key ingredient will be missing and without HIS pull, an album they release will go nowhere. MJ might be gone, but like always it will forever be about Michael Jackson, his shadow lives on.

yeah it was their lowest selling album

2300 Jackson Street is the final studio album released by American Pop/R&B group The Jacksons, and their final album for record label Epic, released in the United States on May 29, 1989 (see 1989 in music). Their final album debuted at #59 on the Billboard 200 and at #14 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and would sell over half a million copies worldwide.[1]

For most of this album, The Jacksons consisted of Jermaine, Jackie, Randy, and Tito Jackson. Michael Jackson and Marlon Jackson appear only on the title track, along with their sisters, Rebbie and Janet (middle sister La Toya was, at the time of this album, estranged from the family and therefore does not appear on the song).

The Jacksons decided to enter new territory by working with new jack swing producers Teddy Riley and Gene Griffin on "She" and the title track (first collaboration with Michael, before the album Dangerous) and the team Antonio "L.A." Reid and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds on the single "Nothin' (That Compares 2 U)". The Jacksons co-produced four tracks with Attala Zane Giles, three songs were produced by Michael Omartian (one co-produced by The Jacksons), while "Maria" was produced by Jermaine Jackson.

The album's title and cover photograph represent the Jacksons' boyhood home in Gary, Indiana. 2300 Jackson Street received some notice in R&B venues (alongside the title track), but was largely ignored by pop audiences. The Jacksons formally disbanded after its release, with Jermaine returning to his solo career, and Randy, Tito, and Jackie going on to become session musicians.[citation needed]

One thing you guys forget...the brothers don't have a record deal. And I don't think anyone in the industry want to deal with them.

Their low belt fight with the executors of MJ's estate (two men with a lot of pull and many high ranking friends in the music industry) was the final nail.

A few months ago, Hits Daily Double stated no one in the industry was interested to work with the Jacksons. Because the pettiness and poor business sense are well documented. Michael was the golden key for a long time...that is why they were badgering him in his final months to do a family tour.

Without MJ..no one was interested in them. #facts

And, face it, they haven't been relevant in years...it will be hard for 4 middle aged men to get a footing in the business. So, selling interviews to British tabloids, calling MJ an addict might be their best hope at getting the money.

I agree...they dont have a record deal..but wasn't Joe trying to talk about his new label at one of the interviews he gave right after Michael passed away?....Also I agree with you that without Michael..they got nothin.....although some fans may dispute this..it has happend before when I have made this statement...so I will add to my post that..this is my opinion.

These fans are delusional.

Joe doesn't have a record label. What reputable music industry person would affiliate him or herself with Joe Jackson?

Joe goes for the other kind: Brian Oxman, Leonard Rowe and Marshall Thompson. Two of them are convicted criminals, and the third is accused of unethical conduct by the California Bar Association.

.

The Jacksons? Whos that?! LMAO! Those no talent hacks are nothing without Michael.

Why should I respect them? I stated the truth. They dont respect Michael.

Because it's ugly. Don't respect them? Don't post. It's that simple. No matter what you think, they are still Michael's brothers.

I don't think the poster was questionning whether or not they are MJ's brothers. That's an undisputable fact.

But just because they are MJ's brothers doesn't mean we have to respect them. lol.

I respect Jackie, because he carries himself in a very respectable & classy fashion...the others...Meh!

You think Randy respected MJ when he was stealing his millions?

I digress...

So lets just all forget respect and have a free for all? I don't think so. Either show respect or don't post. The rules of this site won't be bent so you can all slag off the brothers. Honestly, I don't know what some of you expect. Back on topic now anyhow...

as mike said respects not given its earned.

Whatever, I'm not gonna sit and argue about this. Petty name calling is out. That is all.

Well, I personally liked one of the songs they did on the Dynasty show. i would like to hear a full version.
