i wonder if Temperton, Jones or Michael Jackson were inspired for Thriller, by this Bob James track?

well, i wonder, if at least..partly inspired, for the 'Thriller' song, since i heard that Quincy was inspired by a Prince track.

Ever listen to any of Heatwave's music? Rod Temperton had a very consistent sound, with a lot of tracks sounding like they could either be Thriller or at least a precursor to Thriller. lol So in answer to your question, I doubt it, but this is a nice song you found. Very relaxing, yet funky with that base.
