I Want Mj's Slickk Sides On His Hair

Hello Everybody!

How Can I Get The Slickk
Sides (or if theres a name for it) that are almost like lil finger waves because i
already have the curly hair

this is about 2 months ago its longer now^

^this is what i am aiming for the side of his hair
i want it on both sides just need a lil help in finding a way
to do it... it kinda just looks like a smoothed out part using some jell
is there any step by step or tutorial i can find?


please help?

I went to beauty school a while back...so hope I can help. It looks like he has more of his long hair combed to the side..and the little bit of longer hair he has looks to be held with maybe a bit of pomade or gel. Back then black people used "activator" for that jerry curled look. It's stuff that makes the hair "relaxed" and easier to work with.

Or you can just slightly fade the sides or thin the sides, leaving just the hairline on the side a bit longer...use some gel and a comb to smooth it down..and wa la! I hope I'm making some sense..
