Sadly I don't have all of Michael's albums yet, I only have 3.... Of The Wall - Special Edition and Invincible, well 2 really (I don't really count Number Ones). Anyway, I don't know if I should continue to get the Special Editions of the other albums since I got OTW - SE, or just the regular. If I get the Special Edition, are the songs going to be the same as the original cd? Am aware that the Special Editions have extra tracks. I think I heard that Will You Be There might be a little different on the Special Edition, is this true?

Ok, so Regular or Special Edition?

....and no, I would not get both, just one of each.

All of the Special Editions are remastered, and have better sound quality than the originals. That being said, though, the Bad Special Edition has some small differences: the mixing of Bad is different, and the intro to I Just Can't Stop Loving You has been removed.

If you're going to buy Thriller, get the 25 Anniversary version, preferably the Japanese version (since it includes all the remixes, For All Time, and Got The Hots.) Dangerous Special Edition doesn't include any new songs, though the mixing is very much improved. And HIStory and Blood On The Dance Floor haven't been remastered (as of yet.)

Hope this helps. :)

That's a good question :D It all depends which one you wanna get, coz after all it's your money and it's you who's listening to the CD's :p
Yeah, Dangerous SE does only have some new pics on its booklet, nothing else.

I have stuck with the originals.. You know, original is always original ;) And I haven't bought any of the Special Editions.

lol am still a little unsure, I might have to do a coin toss. Thriller 25, does it include the original songs plus remixes, or only remixes?

I think it is cool to have the Originals, saying that I have the Special Editions. Extra tracks and better sound quality :).

I was wondering about the Special Editions, I have the Special Editions that came in 2's. Like Off The Wall and Thriller came together etc. But I wondered, do they sell the Special Editions that are separate with the slip case over them anymore? :)

^yeah they do, as far as I know =P

hmm..I have ONLY the SE. If I was you I would get the Special Edition's only. Also, the special edition of Dangerous has a new booklet with new photos.

 They do? Yay! Do you know where? I have seen Special Editions on play.com. But I don't know if they are the slip covers.

Yeh. You should definately get the Special Edition's on the albums.

I have all the special editions. Thriller 25 is definitely worth buying, not so much for the remixes, which honestly, I can't even stand to listen to most of the time, but b/c depending on what edition you buy, it comes with a DVD of music videos, (I think they're digitally remastered, but I'm not sure), plus a really nice picture booklet, and bonus songs if you get the Japanese version.
