Yes be safe you all!!!! It's horrible that it's heading to New Orleans, I thought Katarine did enough already.. :(

My prayers go out for everybody there! Pls ppl stay safe!!!

All people who's going to deal with such a horrible situation - in my Prayers.
I keep the hope the 'Gustav' will become weak!

My family has checked in but there's so many others out there I wish ya'll well

Dexter AKA vermilion roadrunners is okay. He wasn't able to evacuate, and his phone is barely getting signal. The water is something like ankle high, but he is okay right now.... I'm worried about him though. :( Please pray yall. He lives in Lafeyette, Lousiana

about Dexter,

He's still okay. Him and his family are in Shreveport. He won't be able to use his phone for a long time. ... And that's the last I've heard.
:)

Keep everyone who was affected by this hurricane in your prayers!

Is this other hurricane, Hanna, heading to the same direction?

hanna is heading that way and dexter informed me maybe two more after that....I haven't been watching the weather so I am not sure

I was able to get ahold of dexter for about 5 minutes on his phone yesterday bit his battery is low and there is no way to charge it as of now......they let his family come home to grab a few things before heading back to the shelter

please continue to keep him and everyone in your prayers. He told me that someone walked out of there house on monday and a tree fell on that person. They remain in CC in the hospital.

I think the tv said Hanna was gonna hit the Carolina's and then ride up the East Coast. We are expecting it on Friday night into Saturday.

I continue to keep everyone in my Prayers

Darvon dear, when i heard what was happening in Lousianna,my concern was imediatly Dexter.

i've been in touch with him through txt messages, and the last time i heard from him was yesterday, and he told me that he and his family are doing well, but that they don't know when they can return home.He also said, that his phone was almost dying,so if i can't reach him,i shouldn't worry,as there's no eletricity ,and it might take days to weeks,to have it back.

Please let me know how is doing,if somehow you can reach him.I love him so much.

Of course that with all this said, this dosen't mean i don't care or pray for everybody who was affected.Dexter is only one of my closest friends, and this is why i am more worried with him.Stay safe people.Take care Darvon!God Bless you all.

Hey everybody! I'm from New Orleans and I just got back home last night after evacuating for a few days. The city does have some wind damage, downed trees, power lines...but no flooding really. The major issue is that a lot of people don't have electricity in the city and surrounding communities. Luckily we did not have damage at our house and we do have power now

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers! :flowers:
