Human Nature lyrics

I've been listening to Human Nature a lot lately, and while looking at the lyrics, I've gotten two variations of a line. So now I'm wondering is it, "Tell 'em that IS human nature" or "Tell 'em that IT'S human nature" ? At first, I thought it was "it's", but now I think I hear "is" sometimes. What do you guys think?
