Hey guys, I thought I'd share with you all :flowers:...
Heal The World For Children is throwing an MJ Skate Night fundraiser in Los Angeles, CA (Glendale to be specific)!!! This event in particular is to benefit the Savong Foundation in Cambodia. Details are as follows...
Sunday, June 23rd, 6pm-8pm sharp
Moonlight Rollerway
5110 San Fernando Rd.
Glendale, CA 91204
$20 per skater
$10 per non-skating spectators
*cash only at the door or pre-pay on HTWFC website
For those of you that aren't familiar with it, Heal The World For Children is an internationally registered non-profit, fan-created, fan-operated organization. They ARE NOT associated with the estate whatsoever, and 100% of proceeds go to the events for the kids and operating supplies (art supplies and games for the kids, food for events, etc.); the "officers" and all other participants do NOT receive any kind of compensation, they (and I) all participate strictly as volunteers. Here's a link to their main site if you wanna check things out a little deeper : http://www.healtheworldforchildren.org
Below are links to the Facebook event page, as well as to the Savong Foundation. I hope to see you lovely folks there!!! unk:
