Latest on MJJC

How true is this? (regarding MJ's pics being digitally altered)

I've heard from fans on other boards and most recently on this board that the red stuff on MJ's lips is digitally altered to make the shade more darker by the media? How true is that? I mean I know these guys are capable of doing that, the've done it to Tyra Banks making it appear as if she is bigger than she is, causing her to host her show in her underwear to disprove the altered pic.
But MJ has came to my country a few times and pictures that our local photogaphers took still look the same as any pics taken by the international media.
Look at the "Blood On the dancefloor" video, those lips are bloodred, you telling me the paps also did that.
I know the paps are a bunch of low lives... any MJ fan knows that, but when it comes to this I think the paps are been given way too much credit.
What do ya'l think?

I don't know about that but magazine pictures usually are airbrushed or photoshopped for everybody. Sometimes the flash (mostly in night pictures) makes MJ appear more pale than he really is.

IMO, that rumour is silly. He has worn red lipstick since the nineties. We may regret it but he does. Of course doctored images of MJ exist, but that doesn't explain the lipstick.
 
I wonder why he wears red lipstick? it is a big question for me that I cant answer.Is there any one who knows that ?why red?

In my introductory post, I refer to it as the "redstuff". I'm a bit reluctant to call it lipstick, I mean why would he?
 
the lack of skin pigment, creates the need to give his lips A color. Why red ... most lips are a shade or tone of red ??

That sounds like a valid explanation and exactly why I never wanted to call this thing lipstick. BUT then another question: Why is it the dark, sometimes its not that dark. Sometimes you cant even see it?

But in my opinion this thing that the paps alter the color of the red stuff is just fans shying away from the fact that MJ wears that red stuff by blaming it the paps.
I mean.. if its for the loss of pigment clearly theres no reason to be embarassed.

I will say though, that I have seen pics that appear clearly altered. Still, even those could simply have been affected by lighting situations, at the time of the photo.

No matter what color his lips are at any given time, it is the pearly white of his teeth, when he smiles that I focus in on. His smile is completely intoxicating, as well as uplifting.
 
:lol: yeah !! his lips could be dyed purple for all I cares. If dude is smiling, all i see is that infectious smile

I think because lipstick is for woman and there are already doubts about this man's sexuality so I dont want to fuel any of those emminent fires coz I knw 100% he's straight, not that my love for him would change if he wasnt.:cheeky:

Well that is understandable. But he isn't the only straight man that wears lipstick. I mean tons of rock stars do, and they are straight.:D
 
In Berlin I saw him personally face to face and his lips weren't red or bloodred, only little gloss pink. I saw Michael several times at other places leaving and entering the hotel and so on, but I never have seen his lips bloodred. Only on stage and if he has an official appearance he wears this dark lipstick, was my impression.
He does it in reason of his skin problem, but why men shouldn't use lipsticks. Many times in history men have worn lipsticks and other accessoiries those one today only assigns to women. Michael has the courage to disregard such rules and conventions :clapping:

Sorry for being off topic.

But anyways he was probably wearing that on stage due to the theater lights. They are very bright, and need people on stage to wear tons of make up to not look too washed out.

Yeah One of my favorite rock band Orgy. The whole band wears full make up ( like women) They are also straight as well.
Depeche Mode. The guitarist/ keyboardist/ songwriter. He has been known to wear make- up as well. And yes he is married to a woman.

Dave Navarro, he has been known to wear nail polish, and eyeliner.

This is also a certain type of styles for rock stars. And teens that are heavily influenced by this copy it.

You lucky fish,Anyway that makes sense actually, remeber when he was rebutting the Chandler allegations on t.v back in 93 in that orange shirt? There was absolutely no red color on his lips, and he was just at home.
