MJ is of course the most innovative and imitated dancer in the world but there's something SO simple that he always does that I think is so cute and always makes me smile.

I was wondering if anybody else ever noticed how when he's onstage and he wants to go from one place to another when the music is playing he doesn't walk over there but kinda does this little skip along type thing and you see his head bobbing and swinging from side to side.


Two perfect examples right here:

1. 2003 BET awards with James Brown. He's doing it at 1:00-1:02 (gosh he was really sexy in this clip)

He ALWAYS does it and I think it's so adorable. You can really see the big kid in him when he does that. Too Cute!

I love how the most minute details stir such poignancy in his fans.
I love how he does this and felt quite touched by it too. I sound kind of stupid, i mean how can one be so touched by such a small detail?

I know right? It seem a very odd thing to notice and really like but I'm just kinda strange like that I guess....lol

He is adorable though with his little quirks. Much more than he ever realized.
 
It's the details in his dance that makes him so unique as a dancer. Everybody can learn a coreography, like the thriller dance or beat it dance. But to walk like that, or to strike one of his poses he does when he dance. That's whats unique about him! It's all in the details baby. Believe me! I've been dancing since i was 6.
 
Omg! talk about details, I watch every single little detail when mj is dancing, Im talking down to a simple finger point. I pay very much attention to the actual choreography, but details is what really gets me. I love it! for example....

He is performing Human Nature ( I LOVE! when he performs human nature in any concert). At 1:49 in the performance he does this little thing with his finger to his head lol....I love it!.

The way he moves proves that he is Michael Jackson! No one moves like Michael Jackson!!!!
 
yes, i saw that skipping in the James Brown video, but there's a faster step he makes that really makes me go back to it again and again. Dangerous Live at Bucharest - Wanna Be Starting Something - when the African chant starts, and he does this step as he moves to the other side - like a 3-count step, which he also did in the TII rehearsal video, but at a slower pace.

i also noticed that he and his dancers would be doing the same choreographed steps, but it didn't seem like it at all because he does it with such grace and naturalness that it just becomes art in its highest form, so beautiful to watch...and his dancers, although hand-picked by him, always paled in comparison. i love watching Jam live, when the dancers first step on the stage - the dance where the shoulders are lifted alternately - that's beautiful! but only on him. doing the interpretive dancing in Will You Be There, he looks like an angel!

oh, i won't run out of examples. fact is, nobody moves like him. he's magic...
