Sexual Hidden Messages in Disney Movies - Fact or Fiction?
Here's some of the myths:
Aladdin -
In Aladdin, at the end of one of the major
songs if you turn the volume very high, you hear a voice say "All good girls take their
clothes off!" its almost unnoticeable you are blasting the volume or are sitting close to the speaker.
Myth or Truth?
Truth! I have heard it for myself! Although it is hard to distinguish if it says "All good girls take their
clothes off" or just mumbling then "Take your
clothes off."
The Rescuers -
The pornographic image of a naked
woman can be spotted in the background of The Rescuers. Approximately 38 minutes into the film, as Bianca and Bernard fly through the
city in a sardine box strapped to the back of Orville, the Albatross Air Charter Service, the photographic picture can be seen in the window of a building in the background in two different (non-consecutive) frames.
Myth or Truth?
Truth! This one is totally true because on the 8th of January, 1999,
Disney announced a recall of the
home video version of their 1977 classic!
In
beauty and the beast, apparently there is a dildo in the large dance number with the candlestick and the teapots.
Myth or Truth?
Undecided. I have watched the
movie and have not seen the mystery dildo, but I have heard many people swear that it's there.
In the lion king u can see the word "sex" appear in the dust when Simba lays down.
Myth or Truth?
Truth! The words do appear in the sky but only for a split second. You may have to pause the
movie to see it. Supposedly this was discovered by an 8 year old
child many years ago.
Disney tried to clear up this rumor by saying that the letters are actually "Sfx", standing for Special FX" - which is stupid too.
The Little Mermaid -
Myth #1 - A man performing a
wedding is shown in profile and gets an erection as the bride and
groom approach.
Myth or Truth?
Truth! The
wedding officiate becomes visibly sexually aroused. You can cleatly see the large, floppy erection!
Myth #2 - The Castle in which she lived was designed to resemble the
male penis.
Myth or Truth?
Undecided. I suppose it is a matter of opinion.
Myth #3 - on the original poster for little mermaid, one of the castles was shaped like a giant penis.
Myth or Truth?
Undecided. I have not been able to locate a picture of the original poster to determine the answer.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit -
Viewers got a glimpse of cartoon character Jessica Rabbit without underwear. Later, graffiti offering
Disney boss Michael Eisner's
home phone number was on a brothel run by Allyson Wonderland.
Myth or Truth?
I believe this one is truth but you have to own a special edition of the classic.
Snow White -
In Snow White when the dwarfs catch snow white and meet her first, one of them mumbles "what are you and who are you doing?"
Myth or Truth?
Undecided. I do not have the
movie to verify.
NOT DISNEY
The Wizard of Oz -
Not Disney, but still cool (i actually have tested this one). In the Wizards of OZ, during the scene when they are in the poppy field and Dorothy falls asleep, there is a silhouette in the far right background of a man hanging from his neck. The shadow is against the floor of the poppy field, like the shadow is being cast.
Myth or Truth?
Truth! There's many possible reasons for this image being here. One reason is that supposedly a man did actually hang himself during the filming of this
movie and that the shadow is real!
Also noticed how the movie Song Of The South has never been released?
The film has never been released on
home video in the
USA because of content which
Disney executives believe would be construed by some as
racially insensitive towards
Blacks and is thus subject to much rumor, although it does exist on home video in the
UK.
Despite the film's lack of home video release directly to consumers in the United States, audio from the film—both the musical soundtrack and dialogue—were made widely available to the public from the time of the film's debut up through the late 1970s. In particular, many
Book-and-Record sets were released, alternately featuring the animated portions of the film or summaries of the film as a whole. Additionally,
bootleg copies of the film in
NTSC format, converted either from the UK
PAL videotape (which runs slightly faster) or from a Dutch version based on the laserdisc, with subtitles made by amateurs, are widely available and have been sold in the United States at retail outlets and on online auctions with no legal action being taken by the Disney corporation.
