KATHERINE SAYS THANK YOU

The Forever Michael Memorial that went down last night didn't have the blessing of Michael Jackson's estate or his brother Randy, but it did have the support of his mother Katherine.

The matriarch of the Jackson clan was in attendance at the Beverly Hilton last night -- our spies say Katherine, Tito Jackson and one of Randy's daughters were the only Jackson family members that were there.

Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson, issued a statement from The Beverley Hilton Hotel for the fans, thanking them for their kind words, their support, and their extreme outpouring of love for the family.

Jackson House -- Katherine's Little Fixer-Upper

TMZ has obtained never-before-seen photos of the Jackson house in Encino, CA where Katherine Jackson and her grandchildren live -- and according to our sources, it was personally decorated by Mama Jackson herself.
Katherine definitely has a flair for pretty things -- but we can't help but raise our eyebrows at that creepy toy display case.

KATHERINE NOT DOING WELL

According to a never before seen interview, which was reportedly recorded last month, Katherine Jackson says that she "hasn't been doing so well" since the death of her beloved son.

During the interview, which was recorded just before the first anniversary of Michael's death, his mother says, "Not a day goes by that I don't think about my son."

The video was shot by the same website that is selling Katherine's new book, Never Can Say Goodbye, and, according to TMZ, the footage is all part of a larger documentary on the King of Pop's life - a project that Mrs. Jackson is working on with her business partner Howard Mann.

Katherine Jackson: MJ Danced to a Washing Machine

Katherine Jackson says she vividly remembers the first time she knew MJ would be a superstar -- and it all harkens back to the time baby Michael danced to the rhythm of an old washing machine.

According to Mama Jackson, the King of Pop-in-a-diaper danced to the rhythm of the family's old Maytag washing machine with "perfect timing" -- and she knew right then and there that her son was destined for greatness.

The video is all part of a longer interview from the website selling Katherine's book -- and we're told you can expect to see the whole thing in a big documentary about MJ's life.

The kids are now looked after by Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson and she says they are each developing talents in different fields. While Paris loves playing the piano, Prince Michael is showing an interest in camerawork and Blanket enjoys singing and dancing.

Jackson: 'Family compound is haunted by ghosts

His spooky tale will be featured on U.S. TV show Celebrity Ghost Stories.

LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson’s mother gained permanent custody of her late son’s children during a hearing Monday that included a surprise objection from the pop icon’s former dermatologist.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff made a series of key rulings during the morning portion of the Monday hearing. In addition to approving Katherine Jackson’s guardianship petition, he also granted monthly stipends to the 79-year-old and the three young grandchildren she is now charged with raising.
The ruling came after a few tense moments in which an attorney for Beverly Hills Dr. Arnold Klein, Michael Jackson’s longtime dermatologist, raised nonspecific objections to the custody arrangements. The attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said they were based on the doctor’s long-term relationship with the singer and his children.
“Legally, he is not a presumed parent,” Kaplan said. He said Klein had concerns about the children’s education and other day-to-day parenting issues.
Beckloff ultimately determined Klein didn’t have legal standing to object to the care of Jackson’s children, but said he could raise objections later. Klein has repeatedly denied tabloid reports that he is the biological father of Jackson’s children, saying last month on “Larry King Live” that “to the best of my knowledge” he is not.
Diane Goodman, an attorney for Katherine Jackson, told Beckloff that Jackson’s youngest son, Prince Michael II, was born through a surrogate who has no parental rights.
Katherine Jackson’s approval as permanent guardian is in accordance with her son’s wishes, who named her in a 2002 will as the person he wanted to raise his children. Beckloff noted that the singer’s two oldest children, 12-year-old Prince Michael and 11-year-old Paris Michael, filed declarations stating their wishes for who would raise them. He did not indicate what they said.

Last week, Katherine Jackson and the singer’s ex-wife, Deborah Rowe, reached an agreement over custody issues. Rowe, who did not appear in court Monday, never formally petitioned for custody, but will receive some visits with Jackson’s two oldest children, to whom she gave birth while the couple was married in the late 1990s.
Mother may be able to mount a challenge
The agenda for Monday’s hearing contained a long laundry list of issues for Beckloff to rule on. After a morning recess, the judge was expected to consider whether Katherine Jackson can mount a challenge to two men who have are administering her son’s estate, attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain.
The men were named as co-executors of Jackson’s 2002 will, and have already received millions of dollars in the singer’s money, property and a life insurance payout, court filings show. The money is being placed into a private trust, which designates that 40 percent of the estate goes to Katherine Jackson, 40 percent goes to the children, and 20 percent goes to various charities.
It is unclear how much money Katherine Jackson and her grandchildren will receive in allowance from the singer’s estate in the meantime. Beckloff did not state the figures in court and indicated he was likely to seal those details if attorneys asked him to do so.
The proposed figures have been redacted from court filings so far. Beckloff did trim the amount the three children will receive, saying that there appeared to be some duplication between the expenses Katherine Jackson listed and those listed for the children.
Also Monday, Branca said during a break that the estate has reached a settlement with AEG, the concert promoter that had been preparing for the King of Pop’s 50 comeback shows in London. Terms were not disclosed, and the agreement will be filed under seal pending approval from Beckloff, who scheduled a hearing on the matter for next Monday.
The judge also said that Mrs. Jackson should be able to review her son’s contracts with AEG. The promoter had sought to prevent her attorneys access without a confidentiality order. Beckloff ruled that Katherine Jackson can review the contracts, but only under certain conditions.
Michael Jackson’s inner circle Mrs. Jackson’s lawyers have also asked Beckloff to allow them to depose Branca and McClain and subpoena their records. Her attorneys have cited a potential conflict of interest between the administrators and AEG as a source of suspicion for the Jackson family; they are also concerned that AEG’s request for a protective order bars the family from sharing the concert contract with police.

Kathy Jorrie, an attorney for AEG Live said the company will share the contracts with authorities if detectives think it will help their investigation into Jackson’s death.
Katherine Jackson arrived flanked by daughters LaToya and Rebbie and son Randy Jackson. Several attorneys representing her were also in court.
The hearing was attended by more than 20 attorneys representing a variety of interests, including Sony/ATV, a music catalog in which Jackson had a substantial stake, concert promoter AEG Live, and Columbia Pictures. Several of the attorneys are also handling issues in Britney Spears’ conservatorship case, and an afternoon hearing scheduled in that matter was postponed.
The attorneys were outnumbered only by media outlets jockeying for seats in the hearing. A variety of broadcast, Internet and print media outlets covered the hearing, arriving more than an hour before Beckloff took the bench to get a seat. An overflow room was also required.

Should Michael Jackson's Mother Leave His Father?

After 60 years of marriage, Michael Jackson's mother Katherine Jackson is preparing to divorce her husband, Joe, according to reports.

A close friend of Katherine's confirmed the rumor, according to Showbiz 411. The friend explained that her reason for wanting the divorce was a comment made by Joe earlier in the year.

In June, a video was released in which Joe said, "I begged her to go over and stay with him, but she insisted he needed his privacy," implying that Katherine was to blame for Michael's death.

"She’s never gotten over it," the source told Showbiz 411.

Not that she needs more reasons to want out. Michael publicly revealed that he was abused by his father as a child, and didn't even mention Joe in his will. Joe has also fathered a child outside of his marriage to Katherine.

"She's been humiliated by him for too long," a friend told the Daily Star. "She's absolutely livid. There's no going back."

Good for her! My mother told me and she even said that now she has respect for Katherine now. I hope it all goes well though.

Michael Jackson’s Kids are Going to School

As we reported a few months back, Michael Jackson’s children were struggling with the loss of their father and had no one but their family to help them cope with the rough times. Katherine Jackson said that although the kids were essentially friendless, that would change once they enrolled in a private school in September. Well, fast-forward to today and TMZ reports that Prince and Paris are ready to take the leap.
The two eldest of MJ’s kids (Prince, 13, and Paris, 12) began attending the prestigious Buckley School on Wednesday. Unlike his two siblings, 8-year-old Blanket will remain at home and receive private lessons, as Katherine feels that he’s still too young to be going to school.
A source tells TMZ that Prince wanted to go to the private school for “a social experience.”
Despite two risqué alum—Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian—hopefully this will be a positive experience for two of the late pop king’s kids.

Prince & Paris Jackson Leave Homeschooling

prince_paris.jpg
Michael Jackson's eldest children are taking a big step.
TMZ reports that Prince, 13, and Paris, 12, are enrolled at one of the most exclusive private schools in the country after being homeschooled their entire life.
Family sources state that Prince wanted to have "a social experience." Initially, Paris was reluctant to leave homeschooling, but has since changed her mind.
Little brother Blanket, 8, will remain in homeschooling as his grandmother Katherine Jackson feels he's too young to venture out.
Among the alums at the San Fernando Valley school are Matthew Perry, Alyssa Milano, Nicole Richie, Nicollette Sheridan, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and Laura Dern.

Do you think this is a good move for the Jackson kids? sorry to say this  is not good idea :doh::2cents::doh:

here is link:http://celebritybabyscoop.com/2010/08/27/prince-paris-jackson-leave-homeschooling-

I think its a good idea. They really need this. They need to socialize and make friends besides their cousins. Besides if they like it, then whats the problem? Prince was excited about starting school.

god bless you :flowers:

well I had a lot of respect for her ; Katherine doesn't need to divorce Joe for me to have respect for her. lol. She was and is a great woman and God bless her for raising such a perfect gentleman.

p.s. my mother was wondering... if Michael was / still is in debt financially, how can his mother Katherine have money? Unless Michael at some time, paid her a substancial amount?
