He also painted this one:
"Strong painted portrait of Michael Jackson entitled The Book which sold for $2.1 million to a Japanese businessman in 1990, making it the most money every paid to a living artist for the sale of a portrait."
The original portrait of Jackson as a "Modern Renaissance Man

Here is a ceramic statue of Michael and Bubbles- made by Jeff Koons:

Jeff Koons’ “Michael Jackson and Bubbles” was sold for $5.6 million in 2001.

So, the "artist" copied the original and tried to sell "Michael" for 3 million?

Here is the original painting!
Brett told ET Michael posed for it at Neverland and the women were friends of theirs.
The women, or the majority of them are taken from the John William Waterhouse painting Hylas & The Nymphs.

:wub2:That's a really cute painting of Michael surrounded by a lot of nude girls. They must've adored Michael there.:wub2:

I know a lot of people would find this strange but i like almost all the things Michael has ever had in his house. To me Michael is a collector of fine arts and things. When we find a movie or a book we like we collect everything that goes with the book or movie right? Like Star wars or for some new ones its Twilight or Harry Potter. I don't see anything wrong with Michael collecting art or anything else he likes. And if he wants to portray himself in some of that art well more power to him.

so the painter lied .. i didnt think michael would pose for this. i thought the painter simply painted this on his own and later showed it to michael. and michael said it was a risque painting.?
guess i should have known it was a copy especially since the women are posed ancient greek -old western european style-. not some women michael and the painter knew at neverland. lol ohwell. i like how he painted michael in that portrait the most out of all.

Man he could've asked me to pose.. Not into nude shots, but for MJ I will make an exception.. Me & him... man it's getting hot in here...lol

I couldn't agree more with you. Michael has a strong passion for art. I too have a passion for them. That art reminds me of my most embarassing moment in high school.

LIAR! and he made up an entire story about the painting, how Lisa Marie was the inspiration for it and how he was inspired by the nature and forests in Australia when he painted the background...what a jerk. I actually liked that painting but I did think the story about lisa being the inspiration was a bit stretched
the painting got lost however he didn't sell it to michael that's what I heard...I think the original is much more valuable anyway

Such paintings are worth a lot of money...
some old paintigs are estimated 10 Mio. $ and more, so the prices of his art will climb in a few years
