Have you ever been to any conventions?

Has anyone ever been to any conventions? Either anime, TV, sports or other conventions? I'm asking this because I'm planning to go to an anime convention "Anime North in Toronto next year. I have a visioned dream that I was Michael Jackson in the anime convention, I wanna dress up as Michael there instead of an anime character, why? Let's just say that's one of those things I wanna share with Michael. What about you guys, have you been to one of those conventions?

The rock band Chicago has an annual fan convention in Las Vegas every year and as a die hard fan (well, I used to be) I have wanted to go but for the 9 years I've known of this event I have opted out of attending due to financial constraints.

I can't believe there isn't an annual Michael Jackson convention. There really should be.
