Warner Bros has released a new international trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on YouTube. I’ve been told that it’s basically the Japanese trailer without the voiceover.

For some reason I'm waiting this movie veeery much though I haven't really liked the previous ones.

Isn't it like 3 months anymore? :wild:

Maybe it's time for me to catch up with this HP thing.. I havent seen more than one of the movies yet! :sigh:

I'm looking forward to it, I hope its better than the Order of the Phoenix I kind of found that one a little disappointing.

^
in fact, Goblet Of Fire and Order Of The Phoenix both weren't as good as the first three.

i soooo cant wait for this film!

even though there have been bad reviews from screenings so theyve changed stuff, but i absolutely love harry potter so im happy :D

it comes out in the UK on the 20something of july!

It didn't follow the books too well. You felt like they were skipping through out the whole book. They really butchered Order of the Phoenix, and Goblet of Fire.

I'm worried they will do the same to Hallf Blood prince. But in good news, they are making the 7th book into two movies. :D

Thats the prob when turning a book into a movie as you cant put as much detail of the book into the movie cuz youve only got 2hrs (approx) to get the story told and keep the pace moving so its interesting.

But as you said they may have more of a chance with this one as they're splitting it into 2 movies which is great.

I am soooo excited for this movie! :wild: I was disappointed when the WB pulled it last year, but it's finally getting closer!

Really? They definitely skipped over a lot, but I thought that Order was one of the best movies so far. Goblet of Fire was reallllly bad though, so I agree with you there.

Yeah, Goblet of Fire is the worst of the movies imo, and then OOTP. The first three are quite good, though the main actors are so little they can't really.. act. :D

Warner Bros has announced that Muggles will now be able to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince a few days early. The film which was set for Friday July 17th, will now hit theaters two days earlier on Wednesday, July 15th 2009. This means that there will now probably be Tuesday night midnight screenings in some theaters.

Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort’s defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn’t counted on Romilda Vane’s chocolates! And then there’s Hermione, simmering with jealousy but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.
