She is sooo much more than a mere MTV icon – she is a music icon and a style icon. But most of all, above and beyond that she is an awesome and inspirational woman, an amazing aunt and a wonderful sister and daughter.


Irrespective of her being Michael's sister, i've always loved her work – her videos are so much fun, true masterpieces and her coreography is always on pointttt.

As it was the case with Michael, i've always enjoyed Janet's socially aware songs such as New Agenda and State of the world, but i'll have to go for a truly iconic vid – Rhythm nation.


*starts to sing along with fist clinched and everything - it's time to give a damn, let's work togeeeeether ain't got no uniform though, but i bet i can come up with smth.*

Another very special song to me is Doesn't really matter. I've always loved the song and loved the movie as well. She makes a great team together with Eddie Murphy, in all his forms lol. Can't wait to see her latest movie.



She also has a whole other 'set' of songs and videos which I thoroughly enjoy, but those are for adult audiences only and some of them have truly restricted uses, where company means nothing more than 1+1=2. :ph34r::cheeky:



God bless Janet and may her road ahead be filled with all that SHE desires; what truly matters is her own happiness and fulfillment. She shouldn't listen to anyone or anything but her own heart.
