Halloween... Next Month!

Halloween is my favorite time of year. There is a lot that goes on. I want to know what your favorite thing to do is?

I just adore Halloween because its the one night out of the year when you can pretend to be someone other then yourself.

Testing out a new font?.... sorry its like not what i expected! share your favorite halloween prankes and other fun things please.

I love Halloween...I love all the old Halloween cartoons....These are my faves and tradition to watch every year since I was little









and of course, Thriller.....Ever since my sister and I were little, while we'd be upstairs getting ready to trick or treat, and my dad would be sitting downstairs, waiting for Thriller to come on...and when it did, he'd yell up, all excitedly.."Girls, Michael Jax is on!" (he always calls Michael 'Michael Jax' :lol:)....so we'd run downstairs, regardless if we were ready or not, and we'd all watch as a family...I remember being nervous to watch it cuz I was always scared, but of course, loved it at the same time! :lol:

ah, memories....I still watch these every year!
 
Oh I love Halloween, it's my fav holiday. I wanna dress up this year and go out.
I'm probably gonna be a Flapper or Genie/Gypsy.

I have a feeling it will be a fun Halloween this year.

And I can't wait for Halloween huanting stories special on tv
 
I love Halloween if only for the cooler weather.:clapping: I don't really do much to celebrate anymore (I live in an apartment building so there aren't many trick or treaters knocking). But when my nephews were young they would come visit and we would all have a ball making my bedroom into a haunted house, decorating it with all kinds of fun Halloween things. We had all kinds of stuff. I still have all the decorations boxed up at my mom's. They are all grown now, darn.
 
aw i love Halloween! dont really do much other than get drunk with friends...
but i remmeber when i was younger going out trick-or-treating my mum would call me in from being outside playing to get my costume on...then me and my brothers and two cousins would go off around the estate. then id come back in...and watch hocus pocus!
if i dont go out drinking this year im totally sitting in and watching hocus pocus i love that film...even to this day i love it!!! :p
 
^Oh yeah, Halloween was a blast when I was little. My mom would buy me and my sister those cheap costumes with the plastic masks that you could barely breathe through. I would go trick-or-treating with a bunch of neighborhood kids and come back home to check out and compare all the candy (and sometimes money) we had collected. If the holiday fell on a weekday we would have a Halloween party in school or have it the day before or the Friday before which was always fun.

Woot woot Halloween, well I'm going to celebrate it with my girlfriend and several other mj friends at a amusement park.
They apparently have some kind of creepy dudes hanging around there and they scares the shit out of you.
It's gonna be awesome. I hope :lol:

Just unpacked my Halloween stuff...



Last year I went the local parade and they actually had a huge amount of people dance "Thriller" during the parade. Was amazing. Then I went home and watched "Ghosts" armed with marshmellows and hot chocolate (okay, with lots of Peppermint liquor in it).
 
I love halloween, but I don't really like that way how all the stores put up witches, cause they look like old hags with big noses with worts and green skin. since I'm pagan I find that a bit offencive. and with Halloween being a Pagan holiday I love it, this year since my town doesn't cellerbrate it, I'm gonna get some cat eyes contacts, dress in black, and walk around the park and the streets. try and scare some people. mwahahahaha

You just reminded me of the annual Village Halloween parade here in NYC! I've never been to it (Lord no, not in that crowd) but I usually watch it on TV and it's fun and also hysterical with all the "characters" you see, hehe.

I love Halloween, but everytime for the past couple of years my mom ruins it for me with all those damned lectures, last year she told top keep the back porch light on and she pisses me off for it. I'm sick of all this, if she lectures me one more time, I'm not allowing her to check up on me for Halloween anymore.

I agree that for example it sort of insinuates weird things for those of us who for example respectfully practice magick with the best intents.

Anyway, one can always make it a wonderful celebration of Samhain as well, it's what's in your heart, anyways...

Like that cat contacts idea. :D
 
I love Halloween. You get to be someone completely different and go to great parties! I'm going to Thrillerween in London this year which I cannot wait for :D

Halloween is near to my birthday so last Halloween, I celebrated my 21st birthday. I dressed up as Thriller Michael, and my friends were my zombies... we had a big party at my uni flat then went out afterwards. I loved it!
Not sure what I'll be doing this year though!

We don't really celebrate Halloween either. Sure there might be some Halloween decorations and parties etc. but not anything huge, no traditions of trick or treating for example.

Though I will always have a reason to celebrate it since it's my birthday :D
 
I love Halloween!!! I don't dress up or anything. But this year I'm hoping to do the house up!!! :D And of course watch Thriller :yes: And I always buy Halloween cake!!
 
i am so super excited! Halloween is my favorite time of year! i love handing out candy and just seeing all the others dressed up. its great!
