a question regarding google maps for those who have a clue about computer type things. ive started looking at the street view option that comes when u look for a certain address.how upto date are those pictures days/weeks or are they really old and how do they get them.

well Budapest on google map is quite old..i think updated more then 2 years ago (since i do not see buildings etc that were built like 1,5 years ago..)

here there is a big empty space....now there for more then 1,5 years there is a sport centrum for example.

The street views are fairly recent if I understand it correctly.

They get the images by driving down those streets with a car that has a camera attached to the car and caputers footage that is sent to their system.


Google are stalkers of everything it appears :mello:
