Michael's funeral. Here's the list of people will be attending to funeral.

Gladys Knight to Sing at Michael's Funeral

We've learned there will be a special guest singing at Michael Jackson's burial tomorrow night: Gladys Knight.

Knight's rep confirmed the singer -- who knew Michael when he was little and once shared the same manager with him -- will perform at tomorrow's service.

The service will take place at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA.

Gladys Knight is a dear and respected friend of Michael's since his beginnings & just wow.
 
I thought Aretha Franklin was going to sing at the funeral.
 
I thought this was suppose to be a private burial why are so many things being made public?
 
Just read that eonline article. . . Why the heck is Larry King and his wife going to the burial? I was taken aback a bit by Geraldo, but now LK who turned his show into an extension of Inside Edition for the sake of reporting every tidbit about Michael's death?!?!

I thought this was only for family and close friends? I can understand Berry, Gladys, Diana, Corey Feldmen, etc. Does anyone know of a previous connection btw LK and the Jackson family/Michael? Besides that of his close personal relationship to Jermaine?

Larry King love him some Jacksons he was also at MJ's memorial back in July.
 
Why is Corey Feldman going? Next thing Oprah going to show up and so will Kobe and queen latifah
 
Other than his friendship with Jermaine, this is said about Larry in Aphrodite's book:

"CNN star Larry King testified outside the presence of the jury. The talk show host claimed that the accuser's attorney staid the accuser's mother 'was in it for the money'. King's testimony was not allowed into the trial."

I think he overheard the attorney say that during a meal whilst eating out in LA...?
 
Well, what I am wondering is will they be troubled by media helicopters flying overhead and making alot of noise and trying to take pictures? I hope they don't do this. The family and close friends should have their chance to say good bye to Michael without all the hoopla.

I truly believe the media won't be Forest Lawn they will respect the Jackson Family wish.
 
Aw, I am glad it is her and not Aretha Franklin. This adds a personal touch to Michael's funeral, and a meaningful one as well. I don't know that Aretha had any connection to Michael, along the lines of peronal, as Gladys did...

Aretha was talking in EBONY that Michael and Janet come over her house play with her kids when they was young. Aretha used to be neighbor with The Jackson Family.

get the September issue of Ebony and you will see that Aretha did have a personal connection to Michael....not in the way that Gladys did...
but there was one

Don't you just wish we could have a say into who are the close friends/family that attend this burial? Geraldo and Larry King would NOT be on the list, or even the back-up list. There are many things I just don't understand at all.
 
@michaelsson: ugh lord knows!

Glad to see Glsdys will be there. It don't matter who performs really, imo. He was loved and as long as the performer love/admired/respected him its all good in the neighborhood.
