I love this rap verse and the entire song - and it's quite honestly the first time I ever felt the "n-word" had a deeper meaning.

No problem! When I got the HIStory album, I bought Michael's HIStory magazine he had at the time, and they gave me a songbook with all the lyrics to the songs on HIStory

it's before that section, it's right after he says 'like a stranger in moscow', something like 'oh I would say' or something similar.

Am I the only one that can hear it or something?! It's so weird because it's not on any of the listed lyrics online and you guys don't seem to know what I'm talking about either!
 
It sounds like lord I must say...But it could be lord have mercy too...It doesn't say in my HIStory lyric book...Only the livin' lonely and the we're talkin' danger parts...

I've checked 6 lyric sites and either they don't have that part at all or they have 'Lord have Mercy'
'guess it's up to the listener...it's an adlib,perhaps.

Lyrics sites are notorious for having incorrect lyrics, and many just copy and paste from the others.

In fact, liner notes to the albums often have incorrect lyrics as well!
