Get video off a DVD

A friend of mine has a video on a DVD he needs to get off, does anybody know how to get the video off the DVD

Freemake.com, download the video convertor and once it download, click file, add DVD and then select the dvd drive on your computer and then you can click at the button if what you want it to convert to
