Get On Up (James Brown Biopic)

The long-awaited biopic of the Godfather of Soul finally came out in theaters this weekend, but it released on the same weekend as a Marvel movie so I doubt that a whole lot of people will even see it. And that's a shame because I just got back from seeing it and I thought it was pretty brilliant. Chadwick Boseman does a superb job as the man himself, and his impressions of James Brown's dancing, singing, and even his regular speaking voice are done incredibly well.

I'm surprised that no one else stated a topic on this movie already seeing how James Brown was MJ's biggest influence in the entertainment world. I highly recommend this film for any audience, especially fans of Michael who are curious as to how the life of the entertainer who inspired him the most played out.

^^ thats the reason why I'm wary about it.
But it seems like at least a fun (not trying to start drama) kinda movie.

So I'll probably see it eventually.

I saw it today. It was pretty good. Chadwick Boseman is incredibly talented. He deserves an Oscar nod.
